It's basically a game that you would buy in a board game shop. unfortunately I grew distant towards games like that/this. It's a fun little card game. NOT a deck builder (which I liked honestly). A lot of luck chance. This game is good to play instead of slot machines, I guess : )), gambling is not my thing, just saying .
very dated but fun
bring rum back
Great card game. Fast and furious.
Fun little game + cool art + good digital adaptation = positive review
Great fun!
Ein gutes und strategisches Kartenspiel zu einem guten Preis.
I found this for sale for under $3. It turns out there is a real-life card-game version of it, which I imagine is the more fun option if you want to play it with friends. Still this is a good introduction to the various cards and rules. The core mechanic: keep drawing cards to increase your score for this hand, but if you draw a second of the same suite that's already in your hand you loose this hand. It feels like walking on thin ice every time I draw a card! There are scoring complications too, such as if you have a higher points card of the same suite already in your collection of cards, the card in your hand does not contribute any points - so every round as you collect more cards the potential for scoring points goes down with every new hand. It's easy enough to teach and pickup a game with a friend, so I think it's worth getting the hardcopy version to keep in the car if there's ever an occasion. UPDATE: The game does have at least 1 bug I observed, where I had set up a trait for tripling any treasure chests, and not only did it not triple the number of cards provided, it did not even double them. Instead it only doubled the number of cards that I had gotten up to the chest or key, but no cards after that. It was only stuck doing this behavior once, and when I went to another match it worked correctly again.
