You play David, an awfully small abstracted chosen hero tossed into a blissfully simple world overrun by giant culminations of evil physics-beasts. As David, you are given a slingshot-esque gift that you will have to use to conquer your colossus foes. Be there AND be square.

Great name, I mean game.
my life was at a halt for 5 straight hours, i saw shapes i killed shapes, i fought shapes. Game good
I played this game many years ago and remember having fond memories of the game. Coming back to it makes me realize how great this game truly is. The story is real and that makes it beautiful. Although I can’t touch any of my old records, I was happy to see all my records still standing! Highly encourage anyone with a love for speedrunning to play this game and I still challenge everyone to beat my times!
I hate long-winded Steam reviews, but there is a lot to say about this one. In my opinion, the timeslow effect was horribly implemented. When time returns to normal, all objects, including the player and enemies, get an insane acceleration. This issue is exacerbated by the camera being so zoomed in and, with the exception of the last boss, not accounting for enemies' position. This means that you will often be shooting at what you cannot see and, due to the aforementioned acceleration, enemies will fly at you from offscreen, which is impossible to react to due to the sluggish player movement. The solution to this is to ensure you remain in slow-mo, making the game feel slow and tedious. Due to the difficulty, I suspected that some of the game physics might be tied to the refresh rate, and posts from 2015 in the game's discussion section confirmed this. At the time of writing, this hasn't been fixed. Changing the refresh rate to 60hz helped, but made the game feel even more sluggish. Each level begins with a cutscene, which replays after every restart. Moving your character ends the cutscene early, but the game is active during this time, meaning you are moving blindly and it is possible you will already need to restart again by the time the camera focuses on the player. Charging your attack washes out the screen to the point where you can't see the HUD at all. Cool idea, poorly executed.
