Date Warp

Played this as a teenager, still love it a decade later. The intro song is just as awesome as I remembered it.

I liked the game, the setting was unique and the story was enjoyable. There are a lot of different endings too, so it's fun to play it over.

The art's not really my taste and the wire puzzle isn't as fun as one would hope, but overall a pretty decent VN. And hey, dark skinned protag, you don't see that enough.

This is a fascinating example of a (one girl, many guys) dating visual novel with some sci-fi elements. Worth a try if you like them!

I've gotten one ending so far. I like this game and will try different paths to see what else can happen.

I think Date Warp is great as a beginners VN or if you enjoy reading light sci-fi stories. It’s an old game so there are definitely parts that come across as cliche. And the graphics could be a deal breaker for those who value pretty artwork. I enjoyed the unravelling of the mystery of what’s happening/happened in the story. It was a pleasant easy read. Nothing particularly groundbreaking but enjoyable and different to the usual focus of fantasy in most VN I’ve read. Minigame puzzle was fun if you enjoy puzzles. Music really helps with adding tension and emotion to story. I personally enjoyed my time with the game, I had fun chilling out and reading it one drizzly weekend. I think the price is fair for what it is and it does go on sale if money is an issue for someone.
