Database Detective: Minor Crimes Division

Logic puzzles, SQL, and even [spoiler]circle maths[/spoiler] in the later cases! What more could you ask for as a break from a day job in data analysis?!

Amazing SQL primer and so, so much more; a puzzle game that scratches that data analyst itch WE have! Maybe the funniest game I have ever played! Hope my Steam review doesn't become part of a dataset in the game lol

Solid game. No need to guess or brute-force anything (except maybe some queries if you can't write more complex ones cleanly). But all information is properly deducible, just be careful not to mis-type anything, or you might waste a few hours going down out-of-the-box rabbit holes you didn't actually need to traverse. Thankfully, the game lets you click names and so on to copy them to your clipboard, and after learning the hard way, I highly recommend using it. Submitting [spoiler]"Toney" instead of "Tony"[/spoiler] in one case left me thinking I missed something until I retraced all my steps from the beginning and realized I had just made a typo. Anyway, great game. Near the end it is much more a detective game than a SQL game, but the blend of the two was done very well in my opinion. My only complaints are window management; it can get really cluttered if you don't like minimizing or closing old windows proactively, and sometimes the active window got stuck under another window so I had to exit to menu and return to fix it.

This game is awesome! Played the demo and was so excited that I instantly bought it. The levels get increasingly harder but when you crack it, it's rewarding. Zoran is awesome! I mean, he is okay overall :)

Amazing game, it helped me get prepared for my SQL exam + to relax afterwards. The crimes are silly, but still tricky to figure out, especially the last one. I love it, 10/10 Zoran is my one true leader

Very good writing and quite funny. Spec-accurate SQL so it's a very good way to learn it. I love this game
