About
Embark on a grand adventure worthy of a true animated movie with Darwin, an octopus as charming as he is clever, ripped from the ocean and trapped in a massive and mysterious industrial complex. With his extraordinary intelligence and incredible abilities – swimming, camouflage, and many other fascinating skills – help him overcome the most formidable traps and dangers in this captivating platformer, adventure, and puzzle game.
In the peaceful vastness of the ocean, Darwin, a young octopus, explores the deep sea… until a strange beam of light pierces the abyss and pulls him toward the surface. Thrust out of his aquatic world, he wakes up disoriented in the middle of a gigantic junkyard, backed by a foreboding factory.
But something is wrong. Between the threatening machines, strange holding tanks, and the mysterious and dangerous creatures and characters that inhabit the place, Darwin realizes he is in danger. To return to the ocean, Darwin will have to outsmart, evolve, and reveal to the players through his journey the mysteries of a conspiracy that goes beyond anything one could have imagined… and which could very well seal the fate of humanity!

Molto carino. Diverte il giusto, senza dilungarsi troppo. Tante citazioni sparse che sono piccole chicche per chi le apprezza. Su Deck ha diversi cali di frame che ne compromettono l'esperienza, ma su Linux in generale gira benissimo.
Sehr gutes Spiel, hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
You play as a funny little ocopus you get what you pay for.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Once in a while you get a game like this that reminds you why you like gaming in the first place. It's witty, it's beautiful and the challenges keep you on the edge of your seat (at least closer to the 75% mark of the story). Special shoutout to all the MiB references! Loved the game to bits and saving it to the replay pile because it's worth it.
Cute idea, but terribly lackluster.
This is a great cinematic platformer, which makes you almost forget that you're playing in 2d. The innovative movement of the octopus on walls and ceilings, makes the puzzles feel fresh and surprising. The variation of scenes between land and water works well. Also excellent sound design which adds to the cinema feeling. The story is fun and easy to follow. Would have been nice to have Dutch subtitles for childeren. It is almost too much value for money, because it is quite a lengthy game.
Sehr schönes nettes Spiel, das in knapp 5 Stunden durchgespielt werden kann. Wenn ich einige schlechte Bewertungen so sehe, ist es nicht zu schwer, oder die Hardwareanforderungen sind zu hoch. Also von mir Daumen hoch! ;)
If you're like me and miss those old, classic puzzle platformers, this game scratches that itch perfectly. It's funny, has a vibrant art style, and the music is perfect. My only complaint is I wish it was longer.
The developers recommend playing this game with a controller, its possible to complete with mouse / keyboard but don't waste your time and money. Paradox Interactive are only interested in PC gamers money, you cannot even rebind the keys, got a notice that the engineers are still working on that issue, what a joke. Refunded with pleasure. Skip this game unless you plan on using a controller, even then wait for an extreme sale price.
I didn't like this game, it doesn't really seem like a platformer either. Swimming or walking around, you have to do something to progress each section, but it seems mostly trial and error or fairly simple. The biggest problem for me was the amount of dark areas I have encountered, it doesn't add any difficulty to the game just makes it annoying.
