Darkwood Tales - Beast in the Shadows

Ein WACKELIGES Ja gebe ich diesem Spiel. Ich habe schon reichlich Wimmelbilder gespielt . Die Story an sich hat Potential, auch die verschiedenen Szenen sind hübsch dargestellt. Die Spielzeit ist verhältnismäßig kurz im Vergleich zu anderen. Was mich persönlich jedoch am meisten gestört hat, war das der Hauptcharakter,also die Figur die wir spielen, uns nahezu alles vorgekaut hat was wir machen sollen. Ohne das man selber in Ruhe herumstöbert oder mal etwas mehr suchen und nachdenken muss. Das macht es im großen und ganzen zu einfach- das umfassende herumstöbern in Wimmelbildspielen halte ich für sehr essentiell. Für jemanden, der gerade in so ein Spielgenre einsteigt, kann es aber durchaus interessant sein.

AI art that doesn't match (characters are all different style, places are mismatched, random real life instances), tedious puzzles with poor visual quality that either don't complete properly or leave you waiting for it to complete, and written issues that show another language at times. But the worst part by far is the hand holding to go to each part of a visual and the absolute slow down where "your" character speaks that requires it to pop in the character model, text box what the character is saying, wait for your input to click through, then waits and pops out of frame. This by far made up most of the playtime, just waiting for the cut-scene-not-cut-scene to finish so it can tell you where to go next. Did not finish and I warn you to stay away. Instead go to Big Fish or Goblinz Enterprises or Artifex Mundi.
