Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most enigmatic of the Four Horsemen, FURY must bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm kinda embarrased to be dissapointed about Lust being a guy and not a big breasted lady. But I'm dissapointed by the game overall so this particular disappointment just blends.

The weakest entry in an amazing series. Worth the playthrough, but get it on sale. The writing is pretty cringe, character development feels unearned/ forced. But the combat is good enough to get through the story to be aware of what happened for when Darksiders 4 eventually comes out!
———————————— Fans of the old Darksiders IP are not recommended to get this one. Unlike the previous installment, it’s completely shifted to a Souls-like style. But it’s just copying the formula without really learning the essence of Souls games. The combat is not satisfying at all, and the addition of the transformation system doesn’t improve the poor combat. The boss fights are terrible—I suspect the development team didn’t put much effort into designing them. The maps just add difficulty points without ever delivering that ‘wow’ feeling after clearing them. Because of that, the only part you actually remember after finishing is the puzzle-solving. The open-ended ending is hard to immerse yourself in, and you really don’t feel like thinking about the possible follow-ups. (The devs tried to integrate the heroine’s emotional journey into the main story, but with almost no dialogue scenes and very brief cutscenes, they fail to show the protagonist’s transformation, which feels really abrupt. In the end, it’s actually better if she had just stayed decisive and ruthless, dismissive of everything.)
A part of me is disappointed that they removed the puzzles and Zelda-style dungeons but at the same time they were of really poor quality in 1 and 2, so I'd rather not deal with puzzles than deal with baby puzzles for game journalists. The combat in 3 is much, much better than in the first two entries, as is the progression system. Game is challenging and good looking. The story is nonsense

Darksiders III had some things different from the previous two games, most notable the fact that finishers/executions no longer exist, and healing mainly comes in form of consumables now. Like some other review said, i think the devs tried the "Souls-like" approach which makes player character intentionally squishy. But still! a fun hack-and-slash adventure RPG with hidden objects throughout, but doesn't require much mental gymnastics to discover. If you do play the game, please do yourself a favor and learn to time dodge counters, it'll help ya lots
verry easy combat and dodging mechanics, overeall ok game for 2018 could have had better graphics
Darksiders was fun, Darksiders II was ok but boring, but this one is just frustratingly badly designed concerning combat and enemy strength. Playing it on "Balanced" seems as uselessly difficult at times and the results of battles just random, there is no apparent and sensible strategy to win the battles. I could not even get to the point where I get bored by the inconsistent story that does not really fit the part one and the cliche depiction of the main character.
