Darksiders III

It's functional and cheap, dumb fun that scratches an itch. That's the recommendation over. There are many gripes and annoyances, some of which can be put down to age some of which are just bad choices. Frankly though at under £7 on sale for the deluxe edition I'm not going to complain. It's mostly dark souls with some hack and slash. Do not play this for the story. The already baffling and bad story actively contradicts the established cannon. Fury lives up to her name, and as such has a kinda fun personality, even if it normally involves having the attitude of the person behind you in the queue at the store whose clearly in a rush. Still, the fact that everyone else in the story knows what morons the Horseman are, and how self-sabotaging Fury is, really works.

Now I'll admit that Darksiders 3 has some annoying bits here and there, but the story itself and fights were fantastic. I confess that I found myself annoyed by the first phases of Gluttony and Wrath's respective boss fights, but it was only until I reached the final boss that I realized WHY it was designed like that; The devs wanted us to use the virtue that counters the specific sin you're fighting. The game is more than a game; with every sin you face, it is just as much a journey for Fury as it is for the player. It's a form of artistic beauty I've not seen in gaming in a long while. To master thyself, lest you be conquered.

No esperaba mucho, le tenía ganas porque la saga es considerada como buena. Para mí no es nada especial, pero tampoco nada malo, es una sensación extraña. Lo recomiendo porqué lo sentí muy desconéctate y juega. En ese aspecto está muy bien logrado

Comparing to darksouls 1 and 2, it feels more like dark souls. Still lore is awesome. Hate tornado :(
