Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 8 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I did not finish this game and do not recommend it. (at least as a single player experience, though i dont see how making this co-op makes it better) on my third play session i was falling asleep and got myself on a treadmill to stay awake to play it out of stubbornness to progress through the game. I really found very little fun in this game. Finishers did not feel as cool from the third person action rpg angle, even as spammable they were. Puzzles were a lot of running around struggling with the camera angle and controls. Some of them not knowing if you have all the pieces to solve them. I hate that it feels like a darksiders game but FORCED into the camera angle. i dont get to enjoy the Giant halls and Huge environments from a first person camera. Not being able to angle up and look around at all the architecture suuuuuucks. And the writing and characterization threw me off so hard. Strife trying to be someone who casually makes fun of the world, deadpool style or wtv. but like the way he does it feels out of context. literally every other character speaks the same way. You don't just develop a completely different style and cadence of speaking out of nothing. Unless they fill this out AFTER 10 hours of playing this game, i dont know. its way too jarring and not fun. I would have enjoyed it more if he delivered his lines in the same prose that the others do. From the trailer: "dammit. i got blood on my boots". ok so he's someone who cares about the superficial aspect of keeping his boots clean. like even a "a splash of blood on my armor, ugh" would be better just because it would be in the script of a character that lived the history we know they lived. or "i can never get over cleaning my boots after massacres" like the waaaay he speaks is out of context. Especially next to War it makes strife feel even more incorrectly written. Its obtuse and jarring in the wrong way. its like if everyone spoke english with a british accent. then your main character speaks with an american accent. before america was even founded. It feels WRONG. emphasize his attitude sure but dont force into it an out of context pulled from a hat speaking style.

Крутая игра. Прошла на одном дыхании. Хотелось бы чтобы у Раздора была своя сольная часть игры. Жду 4 часть)
"Darksiders Genesis" is a pretty straightforward dungeon crawler; as someone who hasn't played a dungeon crawler since the old "Gauntlet" arcade game they used to have at Dave & Busters, I found myself in the mood for one, as well as a simple game that I wouldn't have to think too hard about. And so I bought this game for the low during the Winter Sale, sped through it, and realized that I probably only scratched the surface of what the game had to offer - so I replayed it on the hardest difficulty with the goal of finding all the collectibles, getting all Steam achievements, and ultimately experiencing everything "Darksiders Genesis" has to offer. And you know what? Upon taking my time, I started to really enjoy nearly every aspect of this game. Following two horseman of the apocalypse, War and Strife, the game features an admittedly barebones story, but that's okay because the story is really just there to fuel the moment-to-moment hack n' slash gameplay. Sure, there's an occasional puzzle thrown in, and the odd platforming section for good measure, but the bulk of this game will see you playing as either War or Strife while you either slice or shoot your way through hordes of enemies - and, if once you get one of their health low enough to trigger an instant execution, you'll get treated to a quick little finishing movie that's always satisfying to watch. I won't lie and say that the combat is particularly innovative or something you've never seen before, but I, for one, had a ton of fun fighting my way through demons, devils, and monsters galore with the game's two unique fighting styles. War focuses on hack and slash swordplay, while Strife primarily utilizes his two firearms - and since you can switch between each character at a moments notice, you can blast an enemy away and in the very next second drive your blade through the head of a monster. It's a lot of fun, and the gameplay is very fast and fluid. Plus, the levels are very well designed and fun to explore - there are neat little hidden locations, collectibles galore, and the Biblically-based locations and characters were something you don't see in many games, and it was a bit of a novel experience for me. Overall, I think that "Darksiders Genesis" is worth your time if you're a fan of this sort of thing. If you're not, I don't think it'll convert you, but for what this is, I had a really good time.
Выглядит, играется слишком дешево и уныло, еще и с детским мультяшным стилем. Как-будто я запустил Torchlight, только еще более ущербный. Не советую даже если фанат франшизы
Darksiders Genesis is a fun fast paced game with cool combat and awesome co op vibes feels different from the old games but still got that darksiders style and honestly its pretty enjoyable
I'm not sure why people keep calling this an ARPG (like Diablo) in the reviews. It is not. It doesn't claim to be, either. It's a twin stick shooter, which also features melee attacks, puzzles, platforming, and a few upgrades. But you do not develop your character, you do not make choices, you do not find gear, you find upgrades for more health/wrath (mana) and new abilities you can freely switch between. Unfortunately, that doesn't make Genesis any good. Quite the opposite. I really do like all Darksiders games, even recently just played through 3 with Fury (and I think that's the weakest of the bunch), I even soldiered through 2s terrible "RPG Light" itemization ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but they were all rather enjoyable AA games. You know, games like in the early 2000s, classic gameplay. Soul Reaver, God of War, 3d platformers of that era. There aren't a lot of games like this anymore. But Genesis ... just tries to be a somewhat incompetent twin stick shooter with a story so unrelatable to the Darksiders franchise that you wonder why it even exists in the first place. We go back in time, hence the name, when the Horsemen were still doing Horsemen stuff, and at least you get to finally experience playing as Strife ... only in the worst way possible. My guess is that they didn't really have the funding for Darksiders 4, so they just cobbled something together with Strife, so at least all 4 Horsemen could get their time to shine. And now DS4 is confirmed, so ... better hope that one will be decent. It's like writing a story and ending it on a cliffhanger multiple times, but instead of then continuing said story, the author goes back to some enigmatic time before to give you ... backstory? Quite pointless. That's not what the reader is interested in, usually. Story aside, the gameplay is just dull. They were aiming for some sort of coop experience, so you can also play as War. Why you would want to do that is beyond me. It's just Strife, but without ranged attacks, and a few different abilities, of course. Strife gameplay isn't any better, though, since all you do is shoot and walk backwards, maybe dodge a few times. Dodging feels terrible, because your character is more or less immobile for almost a second afterwards. Walking speed is slow as molasses, so traversal around the map is just wasting your time. On some maps you can at least summon your horse, but that controls like a dumpster truck. Puzzles are basic, the camera is always against you, and enemies are just ... bland. Just like the levels. It ALMOST feels like a halfway decent mobile game, but that's the thing: this isn't mobile, this is PC/console. There are a lot of twin stick shooters out there and they're almost all better than Genesis. You frequently get stuck in terrain or fall to your death, because the movement controls are floaty and wonky and you don't really see where you're going half the time. On many occasions the camera just clips behind the environment and you run AND FIGHT blindly. Pickups from enemies are so frequent your screen is constantly filled with half a dozen different things ... and the bigger ones need to be manually picked up, i.e. interacted with. Other interactible objects are frequently out of camera, so you can easily miss them or have to jump blindly. And, of course, there's backtracking if you want to get everything, because the levels are designed that way, so you need to come back later with new abilities ... no, thanks. That is okay in the mainline Darksiders games, but THIS one should be a high octane, over the top twin stick shooter. That's what twin stick shooters are supposed to be, unless they're by nature tactical shooters, which this one isn't. It's more of a snooze fest, sorry. And the price is quite high for this ... also doesn't look very good, to be honest. Cutscenes are mostly just hand-drawn pictures, which are nice, but still. It's just some 6/10 bargain bin game you might play if you really have NOTHING better to do with your life.
