10/10 game. My favourite boss was gravity
This was my first Souls game. This one stays in your head long after the credits roll. Dark Souls III delivers some of the best boss fights, level design, soundtrack, and atmosphere I've experienced. Every area feels carefully crafted, and exploring the world is just as rewarding as defeating its greatest challenges. If you've ever wanted a game that respects your intelligence, rewards curiosity, and leaves you thinking about it after you close it, Dark Souls III is an easy recommendation. 10/10. ☀️ Praise the Sun! \[T]/

world design is garbage. DS1 had an interconnected masterpiece. DS2 had bigger, more varied zones. DS3? Grey castles, ash, endless hallways. Firelink Shrine is dead, and Anor Londo's return is just cheap nostalgia bait. Majula alone is better than any area. combat is flashy. Roll through attacks, mash buttons, done. DS2 let you experiment a bit more with builds and strategies. DS3? spam dodge-roll and pray it works.Progression is straight lines, straight paths, straight boredom. DS3 funnels you from fog gate to fog gate with almost no choice. DS2>DS3
best souls
Pretty difficult been stuck on Iudex Gundyr for a while now.
Ignore my low playtime, as for the other souls games I have completed this game on console before and I just bought them again on PC recently. Dark Souls 3 is a fantastic sequel to a genre-defining classic, and although the first half of the game is rough and it lacks the level design of the first game, the bosses, combat, pvp and music are all major upgrades. Still tied with DS1 for my favourite soulsborne/souls-like to this day.
После этой игры ты станешь геем
I can't play computer games, but I really like the Fire Keeper's butt.
After finishing the game, I have to say I think it's massively overrated. The design of some bosses and areas is simply frustrating. On top of that, the input buffer makes using heavy weapons an absolute pain. And please, fix the camera. It makes no sense to punish the player because the lock-on breaks by itself whenever a boss teleports. The game would be fine if it were difficult AND fun. The problem is that it's just frustrating—the "fun" part seems to have been left for another day.
