Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

while the idea of this game is at least pretty solid as a spooky point and click game, i think it falls short of being a good game as you get such a broad set of information and not a lot in terms of getting that information to the puzzle it needs to be at, even finding where the locks are can be tricky as each area gets scanned up and down with the pointer and the sequel doesn't seem to be any better in this regard a lot of viewing spots don't seem to have much purpose, and much of the written information is to further expand on the lore rather than be used on puzzles, but you may have to read it anyway to get a hint, or the information is otherwise useless it does make me wish more games had a system where you could see all the interactable on the screen, like in "dracula origins" as i would have been more invested in getting to the end without the substantial re checking that a puzzle may require so, really wouldn't recommend it unless you just really like checking every screen until something of note is found
Dark Fall is a solid point-and-click horror adventure game. It has mostly good puzzles, utilizing the standard adventure game logic of it's time. There are a few standout puzzles reminiscent of Riven, and a few puzzles that struggle with the technological limits of the program. There is maybe one puzzle that makes no sense. This is an indie game from 2002, so reflect on what that means for it technologically. Movement areas can be aggravating and the soundscape is somewhat limited. However, the voice acting is surprisingly abundant. I'd say the scare factor is maybe 1 spooks out of 5. The atmosphere is probably more eerie than outright scary. Of course, it would be hard to make a terrifying point and click game to start with, movement being like controlling the Mars rover and all. Aside from that, the story is generally interesting and well-written. Part of the bouquet of the game is a nostalgia for WW2-era England.

The game aged badly. The graphics are a stab in the eyes, the voice acting is really bad. The gameworld is unconvincing. After quiting the game the process still runs in the background and has to be closed manually. Game removed from library.
This game is really good. Great atmosphere. You should try it.
had to use gameboomers walkthrough or else i would not have been able to do it. I am quite deaf. This game definitely needs sub-titles.
Dark Fall features a really great story that keeps you interested throughout the game. However, you should be aware that there is an incredible amount of reading involved. If you are not into reading lots of text and notes, this is probably not the game for you. Because of this, and the fact that many of the puzzles can be quite difficult, the gameplay can feel a bit long...winded and drawn..out at times. That being said, the puzzles are tough but definitely not impossible to solve if you have the patience. It is a solid experience if you enjoy deep stories and a good challenge.
intriguing point and click puzzler that rewards notetaking and thoroughness.
One of the absolute best adventures ever made.
Intriguing and deceptively creepy adventure game, we were scared to turn the camera. The puzzles were difficult, but not completely insane, hehehe. It also has given me an amazing quote for everyday use: "Please take full offense, when I say that it has been a displeasure to meet you."
