Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Dark Deity is back! A quarter of a century has passed, as Irving and the Eternal Order carefully rebuilt Verroa to protect it against a future war. Their efforts will be put to the test far too soon as a new threat looms on the horizon. The neighboring Holy Asverellian Empire needs new lands to grow, and the fractious, fragile Verroa seems ripe for the taking. All that stands in its way is the Order and twenty scrappy heroes-to-be.
Take command of the Eternal Delegation, led by Irving’s descendants. Gwyn and Riordian will have to navigate the treacherous politics of Verroa, and weave a web of alliances to turn the tide of the coming war. Your decisions will determine the shape of these alliances and define your army. Coupled with the help of a giant pool of customizations, no two playthroughs will ever feel the same.
Put simply, Dark Deity 2 is about playing your way, all the way.

Turn-based tactical combat is at the heart of Dark Deity 2. Your 20 heroes have access to 45 branching classes, each with its own powerful abilities, passive effects, and its own tactical niche…
…that’s until you start experimenting with skills, abilities, and gear that can completely change the way a unit performs in the field and upend your tactics in a good way..
Heroes will bond as they fight seemingly impossible odds. Hardship forges the strongest bonds…but can also destroy friendships and wreak havoc. Will you be able to walk the line between the two?

A desperate defense against an overwhelming foe. A land in the grasp of war fever, panic, and factional strife. A traitor around every corner. To have a chance at winning the war, you’ll need to make some difficult choices.
Verroa is torn apart by factions, and many of these factions are fractured in turn. Decide who to support and who to throw to the wolves - but weigh each option carefully. After all, your choices may drastically change the coming battles…
Every choice can fundamentally change the way you play the game. No two playthroughs are the same and what goes right in one game can go terribly wrong in the other.

No playthroughs are the same, but you can push Dark Deity 2 even further. Inspired by the many community-made randomizers for popular RPGs, Dark Deity 2 features a built-in comprehensive randomizer and campaign customization suite from launch. Random recruitment order, custom difficulty runs with stat, aptitude, xp, gold sliders, and more are available, allowing for near-limitless replayability!
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, GOG, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

I personally really enjoyed this game. It's a fun SRPG
You have to really want a FE-like SRPG. I was having an alright time, then I ran out of time on a scenario about 25 maps in where you had to stand on objectives that were difficult terrain (3 steps to enter) and all my guys didn't have enough move left and honestly I wasn't having a good enough time to do a whole fight and all the sub objectives over again. I *just* cared enough to keep going but no longer. It took a lot of mistakes to get there, but I had 5 guys who could go within 1 space of the end and just not tag it. Could have not gone for every kill. Could have not gone for extra objectives. Why isn't there an autosave like the first game? Why does manual save kick you to the menu?

This is a Fire Emblem copy. They took all of the stats from FE games, as well as mechanics (for example, if your speed is five or more higher than your opponent, then you attack twice against them. This is DIRECTLY copied out of FE games), map lay-out, unit style, pixel graphic style, changeable classes within their tree, speaking scenes with characters in a corner and text in the bottom or top...they didn't try to reinvent the wheel here. They copied another inventor's wheel. That being said, there are some interesting elements. Probably the biggest divergence I've seen from FE (I'm on chapter 12) is that abilities can be empowered twice out of four options. This means your abilities can do vastly different things, depending on the power-ups you pick; some, for example, lower both the cost and impact, while some raise both. Also, mana has been added as a resource which most skills need, and which trickles in each turn. Finally, there are some cute dohickeys (runes, rings, etc) to tweak characters. It's good enough to play, but I find the most annoying part is classing up. Each character starts with a weak tier 1 class and by the end of about chapter 2 they're all at tier 2. This begins the L-O-N-G plod to tier 3, which, at chapter 12, I'm half-way through. Also, while you can swap classes for others in their tree, many classes seem really weak. I turned Valeria into a Devote, and Gwen as well. They're tankier that way, and the light dagger class (cutthroat, I think?) just dies in every battle. Finally, FE games tended to give different stat growths to specific characters. Here, stat growth is tied directly to class and nothing else, meaning units lack an identity within your party. They're sprites with stats and graphics and are, aside from the cutscenes, mostly interchangeable. Graphics are good enough, voice acting is well-done, combat animation is acceptable, and it's a relaxing little game. But nobody ever made something iconic by copying another inventor's wheel. The price isn't high, and it's above the fun/not fun line. 3.3 out of 5.
개연성 없는 스토리, 매력없는 캐릭터들 20스테이지 까지는 승급하는 맛으로 했지만 후반부는 처참 그자체.. 스토리도 똥이라 그냥 스킵스킵.. 매력적인 마계를 왜 꼴랑 3스테이지 넣고 급마무리한거지? 차라리 30스테이지 왕 죽이고 악마들 사냥하러 가면서 3차직업 넣었음 이정도로 처참하진 않았을텐데.. 왕 배후에 뭔가 대단한 악마가 있는것 처럼 포장 ㅈㄴ해놓고 등장조차 안하네?? ㅅㅂ;; 실제 플레이 타임은 20~25시간이면 떡을침 겜켜놓고 유튭보느라 플탐긴거뿐 2회차는 필요 조차 없음 이미 1회차가 선형구조에 쓰는 캐릭만 쓰게됨 30스테이지 엔딩보니까 시간 아까워서 괜히 더 빡치네;;

Came to this from the original Dark Deity, and this one is an upgrade on every level. The story came together better than I expected, the gameplay is much snappier and more satisfying, while still keeping with the creativity of the first one. Definitely much more approachable and enjoyable than the first one if you're not a long time Fire Emblem type of player. Also, the voice acting was EXCELLENT. Really well done. Only thing is while the core group of characters were amazing, I think I prefer the whole ensemble from DD1 and how well they bounced off of each other.
it's a bit early, but i'm liking it so far! it's definitely lost a bit (like a tiny bit just to be clear) of the first games charm but it's a lot more approachable and the character writings gotten better. (i might even do a second run on higher difficulty). it's good. looking forward to Dark Deity 3.
Pretty good game, lots of upgrades from the first dark deity. just a few things: - Request to add a borderless option - full screen keeps minimizing when doing stuff on another monitor is pretty annoying. - Request to have the 2x speed a permanent option also, some of the color schemes on the menu is not so good.
