Daddy's gone a-hunting

Even though I got this for about $0.30 in a bundle, I can't recommend. Worst offenses: - Bugs - if you pause the game, exit to menu, and continue, your character is gone and the menu persists. - 30fps with screen tearing (no vsync). - Bad 3 second sound loop that isn't even music. - Horrible, floaty and weak jumping mechanics. - Confusing story...it was a few random undecipherable scenes replayed several times? - Not fun 3/10. I can forgive 30fps and rough-around-the-edges games. But not flat out bugs, annoying sound (doesn't even count as sound), and frustratingly bad jumping in a platformer.

This game would be a lot better with music. Right now, it's just ambient sounds on a background of silence. It would also be better if there were upgrades to your weapons: a sword and a ranged weapon. This is an incredibly bare-bones platformer in a world over-saturated with indie platformers.

Добротный платформер, за которым не грех провести пару вечеров. Жаль нет ни достижений, ни карточек.

横版平台游戏 整体上来看包含了一些普通平台游戏常见的功能，但细节上来看，做的很粗糙 大致上来说： 移动节奏缓慢，总觉得拖拖拉拉了的，甚至如果你一直往前跑会比卷轴滚动速度快 跳跃高度好低，虽然有二段跳，但还是只能跳比较矮的高度，但是水平距离到时挺远的 伤害评定比较奇怪，有时候一下子连续掉2血，有时候碰到怪物又不掉血 难度也比较大，主要因为反应比较慢，容易被攻击中，而回血道具又比较少 最最最不能忍的问题，为什么每次按个ESC就给我窗口恢复成最小分辨率然后重新选择分辨率？这还让人开开心心的玩吗？ 还有关卡里收集到的肉到底有什么作用，就是个计数器？那我每个都吃有何意义

When just jumping requires more focus on the player's part than the dev put into the sound design, you know you done did bad. And the sound design is truly terrible. Not only are the tracks obnoxious but they completely change literally every ten seconds at least. And then there are the crappy controls that won't even let you control jump height and left my hand aching after just a few minutes, crappy graphics, broken intro cutscene... Just. No.

10/10 would dad again.
