Da! Russian Quiz

The game is best used as a resource while learning the Cyrillic alphabet and is handy for those who already speak Russian who wish to learn English words. If you already know both English and Russian this will be like a refresher course. It teaches you numerous words and has an adorable bear. You can set how much time you have for each quiz. If you can't speak either language but have a friend who does they can help you out which works great! When you're having fun you learn so much easier! :D

The presentation is a bit jank but has tons of words and phrases, it does the job well enough.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I first learned the Cyrillic alphabet using a children's game app on my phone over the summer. Since then, I have been attempting to learn vocabulary with little success because it's very laborious. This game teaches you the Cyrillic alphabet, hundreds of key words/phrases that would be sufficient for a tourist to communicate with locals with ease, and a bunch of nouns. If all you want is to be able to be understood by locals at a rudimentary level the way a native Spanish speaker sounds when he comes to the US, then this is the perfect app for you. There is no fuss, no confusing grammar, and no neutered/gendered words that defy common sense. The timed interactive quizzing method has proven to be manner in which I learn languages most easily because it allows me to test my knowledge and confirm retention. Highly recommend!

It's such a simple game just a quiz but it's actually helping me break the habit of thinking of Russian characters as English as being an America my life has revolved around the English language and characters so slowly it is letting my brain become use to the fact that in Russia this mean different sounds. That said had 2 points of feedback. Right now the max seems to be 30 questions. I would like to see this going up to perhaps 100 questions so the tests go longer and maybe have even more sticking power at least for the Alphabet! I have yet to try other categories being I am trying to learn the alphabet at the moment so concentrating mainly on that at the moment. Also I would like to see a little more of all the characters. Some characters I don't see to often and others I see a little too much so I would like a more random mix that more equally covers all the letters especially if you do increase the question limit to 50 or 100 (Preferably 100!! :lunar2019grinningpig: ) Otherwise finding this a great tool for my language learning as not found any others that really work on the alphabet as well most are just phases and words and lack this key part of learning any new language that being the alphabet!!! So Thanks!!

like learning most skills, you need consistency. Da! Russian Quiz, i feel, provides a nice basic framework to get started, if you can be consistent. do a few (dozen, or hundred) quizzes per day. improve on 1-2 things every day. make 1-2 less mistakes per day. to quote one of my favourite books - "the most important step a man can take. it's not the first one, is it? it's the next one. always the next step." my use case has been - first, learning the alphabet. quizzes, reinforced by trying to type basic phrases to a Russian-speaking friend. i can see a path forward - once i am familiar with the reading/writing, then there's basic phrases, and verbs, nouns. once i have that... i can start reading children's books.

since the beginning of time developers have attempted to make the perfect game. a game so unfathomably perfect in every way so people would never be able to stop playing. despite this against all odds this was the game to achieve this momentous achievement. in this game everything from the underlying story that alters your perspective on the world to the absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack that will feel like the angels from above are singing the most beautiful song. or the graphics so realistic and immersive you will forget that you are even playing a game. this game is perfection in every way imaginable. if you are reading this review right now stop and buy this game do not look at anything else and go into it blind. this is a once in a lifetime experience.

worth it if you want to rock up your russian!

This could be some much better if there wasn't so many bugs and other issues. Still good info but sort of not worth bugs.
