Cyborg3003, developed and published by Rodrigo Banzato, is a captivating survival horror first-person shooter that plunges players into a bleak and dystopian future where humanity has been transformed into cybernetic beings. Set in the distant year 3003, the game transports players across alien planets, each presenting unique and hostile environments teeming with monstrous threats. This premise lays the groundwork for an intense cooperative experience where up to six players can band together, combining their strengths and skills to survive relentless waves of alien enemies. Whether playing solo or with friends, the game’s immersive atmosphere and tactical combat keep the tension high throughout each mission. The core gameplay in Cyborg3003 balances fast-paced action with strategic elements, offering both first-person and third-person perspectives to suit different playstyles. Players have access to a diverse arsenal of weapons, ranging from conventional firearms like shotguns and sniper rifles to futuristic tools such as laser pistols and flamethrowers. Explosives like grenades and claymores further enhance combat options, encouraging players to adopt varied approaches depending on the situation. Beyond raw firepower, the game emphasizes team support, allowing players to equip allies with tools like medical kits, welders, and body armor, which become critical in enduring the escalating onslaughts. A standout mechanic is the "Venontime" slow-motion effect, which adds cinematic flair by letting players witness enemy takedowns in dramatic detail, even during multiplayer encounters, adding a satisfying layer of intensity to the chaos. Cyborg3003 distinguishes itself through its open, non-linear map design. The game currently features five expansive maps that grant players the freedom to choose when and where to engage enemies, providing a refreshing departure from the linear corridors typical of many shooters. This design fosters exploration and tactical decision-making, as players must evaluate risks and opportunities within dynamic environments. Complementing this is a perk system that enables customization of player abilities, allowing each team member to specialize and adapt their strategies to fit their preferred role. This degree of personalization adds meaningful depth, encouraging repeated playthroughs and experimentation with different builds to tackle the evolving challenges posed by alien foes. Visually, Cyborg3003 excels in crafting a gritty, immersive world that reflects the harsh realities of a future dominated by cybernetic survival. The art direction leans heavily into a decayed yet futuristic aesthetic, portraying desolate alien landscapes that feel alive with menace and mystery. Environmental effects such as dynamic weather, shifting fog, and night cycles contribute to a palpable atmosphere of suspense and danger. These elements not only enhance visual appeal but also impact gameplay, as visibility and environmental conditions influence tactical choices and player awareness. The sound design further supports immersion, with an ambient soundtrack and chilling audio cues that heighten the sense of urgency and dread. Although still in early access, Cyborg3003 has received favorable reviews from its player base, particularly among fans of co-op survival and horror shooters. While it may not yet have the polish of larger studio titles, its unique blend of strategic combat, open-ended level design, and atmospheric storytelling marks it as a standout indie project with significant potential. The developer’s ongoing commitment to updates and community feedback bodes well for its continued refinement and expansion. As it evolves, the game promises to deepen its gameplay systems and narrative layers, potentially carving out a niche among enthusiasts seeking a challenging, cooperative sci-fi horror experience. Overall, Cyborg3003 presents a compelling mix of adrenaline-fueled action, strategic teamwork, and immersive world-building. Its balance of frenetic combat and thoughtful customization creates a rewarding gameplay loop that keeps players engaged and invested. While some rough edges remain typical of an early access release, the foundations laid by Rodrigo Banzato demonstrate a clear vision and passion for the genre. For gamers looking for a fresh take on survival horror that emphasizes cooperative play and atmospheric storytelling, Cyborg3003 is a title worth exploring and watching closely as it grows into its full potential. Some fun can be had here but the main issue I had was with the fullscreen..or lack thereof. I found myself clickin outside of game durin' the gunfights and that can get rather annoyin'. It if was true fullscreen that wouldn't happen. This needs to be sorted out. Game is in early access so there is a chance. Despite this, a good time can be had. Game is a wave based shooter in which ya can select a load out prior to entering the fray. Game isn't terrible but it comes with some flaws. Gameplay impressions: https://youtu.be/XNpH-Pc8MOw
Okay for the price. Needs improvements. Great looks and exploding guts! Lots of blood flying around. It's better when playing Coop with friends
Valeu e sucesso no desenvolvimento e próximas atualizações! Estou animado para acompanhar o crescimento do game hehehe
Nice cheap fps! Play coop for the best experience! Looking forward to more content ASAP
No Coop ele fica BEM melhor!
