[h1] A spin-off that could have been good but mostly just sucks like every other Neptunia spin-off game [/h1] I can see what the game was going for and if they had succeeded with the execution, this game could have been amazing. However... [h2] The bad [/h2] While the combat may seem interesting at first, it just boils down to spamming your abilities & recovery items. The game also has blocking and parrying which you can use your time into learning the timings, but you can also just spam recovery items down the gutter which kind of ruins the point of blocking and parrying. The different areas in the game are very barren and boring. The story is not that good. The new characters are bland and the returning characters are not well written. The multiplayer was a neat idea, too bad that it sucks and lags hard... [h2] The good [/h2] The only good things I can say about this game is that the aesthetic of the game, decent soundtrack and the character outfits which are quite unique, interesting and cool. The updated character models were also a nice change at the time. Not much else to praise about the game though. [h2] tl;dr [/h2] I enjoyed the game for what it could have been, not for what it ended up being. The game has boring gameplay, meh story and overall feels like a game that failed at what it tried to accomplish.
