Recommend but only on sale Pros .Well-developed ominous atmosphere .Gorgeous artwork/graphics/scenes .Beautiful music; supporting sounds; excellent voice acting .Three difficulty modes (no custom) .Mini-map with fast travel .Stationary toolbar .Mini-puzzles are abundant and challenging .Interactive elements in scenes .Collectables (morphing) .Average length .Strategy guide .Bonus chapter Cons .There was an in-story aftereffect that was silly, without basis or explanation and at odds with the sinister tone of the tale, which broke the immersion (and ruined the story for me) .Very busy artwork/graphics/scenes .No indication when objects in correct position for possible use .Adventure play mainly consisted of collecting icons and putting them in a place with a matching picture, which became dull after a while .Hidden object scenes were few, all the same type (fragmented), repeated and fairly easy Final words (6/10): I wasn’t sure whether to recommend this game or not. The visuals, audials and mini-puzzles are amazing but the story and repetitive adventure play and hidden object scenes are... not. Overall I enjoyed it but would only consider it a fair value on sale.

As all Blue Tea HOP games, this one is wonderful in art, cutscenes and music. The minigames are fresh and new. Only one negative: no steam achievements, although there are ingame achievements...

Eine wundervolle Wimmelbild-Märchen-Adaption mit schaurig-schöner Atmosphäre und coolem Bonuskapitel! Wer die in die Jahre gekommene Grafik nicht scheut, wird hieran seine Freude haben. Die Rätsel waren im Hauptspiel einfach bis mäßig schwer, im Bonuskapitel hingegen fand ich einige schwer. Die Wimmelbildszenen sind einfache Objektsuchen, allerdings - wie ich´s aus der Dark-Parables-Reihe kenne - werden alle gesuchten Objekte zu einem benötigten Item zusammengefügt. Auf die Art braucht man tatsächlich alle Objekte im Wimmelbild! Die Story gefiel mir sehr gut. Sie ist nicht kitschig geworden und hat einen sehr endgültigen Stil, ergo: man kann Geschehenes nicht auf magische Art ungeschehen machen. Das verleiht dem Ganzen eine gewisse Tragik. Allerdings hätte es mir persönlich gefallen, wenn die zahlreichen Reime, Anspielungen, Zettel und Zeitungen etwas mehr von unserer Spielfigur kommentiert worden wären. Ich mag das Spiel! Also, Daumen hoch!

Це моя найперша гра, в яку я грала. Тому це і одна з ігор мого дитинства і у мене з нею тільки позитивні спогади. Вона трохи мрачнувата (особливо бонусна глава) і в дитинстві навіть її побоювалася, але все одно грала. Історія цікава хоча загадки і головоломки дуже прості. Я не дуже розуміла сюжет рашіше, але зараз він мені здається, можливо, трохи казковим, але й сумним (меланхолійним?) в той самий час. Скоріше за все, якщо у вас немає якоїсь ностальгії за схожими іграми, то вам не сподобається.
