Death is only the beginning. Crawl from your grave and gear up to fight your way through the ranks of a mysterious and twisted cult. You, your guns, and your dynamite will have to shoot, slide, blast, duck, dodge, and maybe throw a gib or two to survive in this old-school-inspired shooter.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 15 → 9.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Rise up. Fight back.
Gear up to fight your way through the ranks of an insidious cult. Their wretched minds twisted by the will of an unseen entity, you'll find just as much lead flying back as you dish out, so you'll have to run, slide, dodge, and make use of your environment to survive in this old-school-inspired shooter.
CULTIC: Chapter One includes 10 maps full of blood, grit, and of course, cultists. After completing the story, you can test your skills in the wave-based Survival Mode, also included with Chapter One.
Get a taste of Chapter Two with the Interlude story map, and then finish the fight with the Chapter Two expansion DLC!
CULTIC gives you the freedom to approach combat your way. You can run in guns blazing, running, jumping, sliding, and dodging to keep out of harms way. If you prefer a slower approach, you can lay traps, let your enemies come to you, and pick them off from the safety of cover. Maybe you prefer to weave in between your foes, leading their attacks towards each other, and turning them against one another. With a full arsenal of mid-century firearms and explosives, you'll be well equipped to slaughter everything in your path - provided you don't get slaughtered first.
Combat in CULTIC is fast and deadly. Well-placed shots can take your enemies - and yourself - out of the game quickly. Keep on the move or stick to cover, and use your arsenal wisely to stay alive as you fight your way through cult territory.
CULTIC was styled to feel like a throwback to the shooters of yore, but with the advantages of a modern engine, such as physics, lighting, and a fully 3D game world. The gameplay, audio design, and art are all stylized to create a unique experience.

amazing movement and combat
# ★★★★★ — A Masterclass in Action Horror **Cultic** is what happens when someone takes the relentless pacing of *Blood*, the razor-sharp combat philosophy of *Resident Evil 4*, throws them into a grimy, atmospheric blender, and somehow makes the result feel completely fresh instead of derivative. Every encounter is a violent puzzle. Enemies are aggressive without feeling cheap, weapons have incredible weight and punch, and movement is just fast enough to reward skill without turning the game into an arena shooter. You're constantly juggling positioning, resources, and split-second decisions, creating that perfect balance between fear and empowerment. The inspirations are obvious—in the best possible way. Like *Blood*, *Cultic* revels in grotesque cult imagery, chunky pixel art, and explosive gunplay. From *Resident Evil 4*, it borrows the philosophy that action and horror aren't opposites; they're partners. The game keeps you under pressure without stripping away your ability to fight back, making every victory feel earned rather than scripted. The atmosphere deserves just as much praise. Its retro visuals don't limit the horror—they amplify it. Every abandoned farmhouse, underground crypt, and blood-soaked corridor oozes dread, proving that artistic direction will always outshine sheer polygon counts. Ironically, *Cultic* succeeds where *DOOM 3* stumbled. *DOOM 3* spent so much effort trying to convince players they were powerless that it often forgot the thrill of actually letting them cut loose. The horror frequently came at the expense of the action, making combat feel restrained when it should have been exhilarating. *Cultic*, meanwhile, understands that the best action horror doesn't force you to choose between fear and firepower—it makes both stronger. You're terrified because the enemies are dangerous, not because the game keeps taking your flashlight away. It's a love letter to classic shooters without being trapped by nostalgia. Instead of merely copying the past, *Cultic* studies what made those games timeless and refines those ideas into something modern, challenging, and endlessly satisfying. If you love *Blood*, appreciate the combat philosophy of *Resident Evil 4*, or simply want one of the finest indie FPS games in years, *Cultic* is an easy recommendation. **5/5 Stars.** Brutal, atmospheric, exhilarating, and one of the clearest examples of how to do action horror right.
Very good
A beautiful dance betwen an emo girl that likes creepypastas and pure adrenaline. BUY. IT. NOW.
If we're counting this as a boomer shooter, this might just be the best one I've ever played. This includes DOOM '93. If we're counting this as a modern FPS game and not a boomer shooter, it's probably still in the top 5 FPS games for me. What I'm tryna say is that it's a good game and you should play it.
