100% the game Absolute masterpiece
I love a lot about the game and there's not much I don't like. The only thing that really comes to mind is that you can't wear a fleece as the Goat.

I bought this game because I saw it in a Youtube video and thought "yeah, that looks very similar (in artstyle) to Don't Starve" and that it sounded pretty cool. Let's just say: I don't regret it AT ALL. This game is 100% worth your money. Gameplay's really satisfying, difficulty is surprisingly harder than I was expecting (maybe I just suck, IDK, but I enjoyed it either way), the cult-building aspect is very fun and the followers are just so cute that even I, a person with quite a history of being heartless towards practically every NPC ever, could simply not get myself to do anything other than care for them way too much. Here is the general idea of the game, told in a very dumb way:
You are the last lamb alive, being sacrificed because of the drunk 3AM poetry of someone saying that you will unleash a force to destroy the Old Faith (island where game takes place). Those giving the orders are a walking bush, a Chernobyl toad, Squidward and the average Australian resident. Right as your head gets chopped off, you wake up in pillowland with the occasional chain and encounter a cat wearing a wedding gown with a tarp on his head. He calls himself "The One Who Waits" and gives you a job application (I know, I had no idea this game was a horror game) in order for you to become the leader of a new cult centered around him (Narcissistic AF IMO). Afterwards, you're given a pocket knife and a second shot at life. You kill some random creeps with pocket knives too (dark alleyway activities) and you eventually get to a place where you will build your cult, and the rest is not yet written. You have the pen, the paper and the will to change the course of history. Dunno why, I just felt really poetic at the end. Moving on...
One of the things I found hilarious about this game was the fact that it has a literal "The Boss VS when you unlock them as a playable character" mechanic. When you defeat a miniboss (not gonna get into spoilers but you can get the bosses too), you can indoctrinate them into your cult with a cute little follower form. Woolhaven is also a really solid DLC, I feel that you should buy it with the game, not after you finish it (like I did), because it just feels like a main part of the game for me, and I could never play the same without it. It introduces a Frostpunk-esque winter and warmth system (although heavily simplified), 2 new maps, a ghost town (literally) called Woolhaven (obviously) and 2 new bosses
(Marchosias and Yngya)
, along with a lot of new, more technological and industrial decorations for you to use at your cult. Even though I don't have hundreds of hours, I still am planning to 100% the game and build the perfect utopia just because it's really fun and then probably tear it all down just so I can start again. This game is a gem and I think you won't regret your purchase.
So so so fun!!! I love how they're always adding new stuff too.
I love this game
