This is a cool little shopkeeper game with a pretty dire lack of content and difficulty. I beat it twice in under 2 hours.
A smart little puzzler where you take a role of currency exchange service. It lacks endless mode, but is definitely entertaining in small bursts.
英语好的朋友可以玩一玩(主要是都是大写字母对我这种英语不是很好的人来说真的太难了) 没有中文真的很难受 但是玩法还是很好玩的,还有很多随机任务什么的
Awesome game, love the options for different play styles. For a seemingly simple game I'm really impressed.
Very fun game, where you play as a shopkeeper and you choose whether to serve your customer or not. The increasing rent every few days provides a nice challenge and you also gain new dice and events. Here is some gameplay for those curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOj5UhTH9Ew
It's good. Creative system thats a joy to puzzle through. It's very clear that the team behind this put a lot of care into the aesthetic, the world, and the games mechanical systems. For that I give them full credit. That being said, the game isn't without faults. It's missing that last 10% that's needed to push it over the edge. For starters, the game is too easy. Coming in with no idea how the game played, I completed the game with all 3 characters in a grand total of 5 attempts. For a rougelike, a genre that thrives on mastery, this is a real problem. I'm not certain what the answer is, but an answer is sorely needed. In addition, the runs are only really challenging during the first pay period or two. After that, you've generally built up enough that the run has lost all of it's challenge. During my fifth run, as the third character, I had achieved the final required payment of $2000 at the beginning of the second day after a single customer. I then closed up shop, made sure the event didn't drain any of my cash, then closed my shop for the entire third day. The game just doesn't scale very well, and the last round or two feel like they're less of a challenge and more of just going through the motions. While the variety in dice-types is excellent, the variety overall is lacking. In the five attempts I made, there was a ton of repetition in terms of the items I acquired, the events that happened after each day, and the round changing effects that happen after each pay period. Given I only played the game five times, that's a real issue. Theres also no additional challenge runs to sign up for with different rules, or really any way to customize a run at all. Now that I've completed a run with each character I have no desire to pick it back up for another go. Maybe at another point down the line. (On a more minor note, each new run begins with no round-encompassing events. That's fine during the first time you play each character, but it's really, really boring during each subsequent attempt. The game is only a few pay-periods long, skipping one is a shame. In addition, the beneficial news story that does nothing but cancel that rounds negative? I'd recommend scrapping it entirely. It's further removing the variety of challenges between each round, and makes the whole round feel dull.) If you're a potential buyer I'd stop here. I recommend the game. You should play it, as it's interesting and I feel it's worth the price of admission. But there are mechanical spoilers below I'd recommend playing to discover for yourself. As far as the various mods that affect the entire day, they're hit and miss. Mostly hits, but with a few exceptions. For starters, most of the mods have very easy work-arounds that make the mods entirely skippable. For instance, the mod that causes shoppers to be on a time limit is great (honestly I'd recommend adding that as a permanent mode.), but theres a serious flaw, you can pause the game, which pauses the timer, and still view all of the information you need to make a decision. I personally chose to ignore this, but it's a flaw. Likewise, the explosions that can destroy your dice can be ignored by setting them in or under the buyers panel on the left. The explosions simply wont reach there. Poisoned dice can be ignored nearly as easily by setting them in the tray on the right. The one that does everything right, sadly, are the flaming dice. They'll still light up when they're in the buyers tray, it makes sense that they don't light up when the games paused, etc. Unfortunately, they're also not fun. Since only one die ever lights up at a time, they're mostly just an annoyance to click on. Not difficult, not entertaining, no interesting decision to make with them, just an annoyance. Anyways, overall solid work devs. It's a good game. It's missing that last bit to make it a great one, but still one I'll recommend to those interested.
Cubic Currency is a very fun, flavorful game. The cyberpunk aesthetic is solid, the UX is en pointe, and the mechanics are absorbing. If you adore simple dice or bidding games but you just wish they had more of a story, this is the game for you.
best store sim i have ever played the constant trading of dice is hypnotising. highly recommend for such a low price and i wont say much more but its a roguelike game so there are tons of abilities that break the game in alot fun ways and there are more dice then i suspected again i dont want to spoil anything best go into this game blind with no expectations........ there are dice that have S. e x 10/10
If I had to choose between bones, worms, or dice, dice would be my preferred dystopian currency.
I actually, genuinely feel like this is a 'diamond in the rough'. The worldbuilding is great, its pretty relaxing and calm, the soundtrack is amazing and provides such great tone and atmosphere. Really great for what it is, the decision making for each of the deals have heavy implications. All the modifiers make it really fun and interesting.
