GOOD
i honestly didn´t like the story, and at no point did i feel like it helped me move on to the next clue. most of the tasks ended up being more tedious than challenging, like following the map at the end or the brain puzzle, which was a pain to complete. i was excited to play at first cause i love escape rooms, but i feel like the game followed no logic at all. also, not a fan of the art style and the little jump scares.

I. Love. This. Game! Okay... so I was looking for a good, free puzzle game... I LOVE games that are super "involved". I saw this and thought "oh cool, I haven't played an escape room game in a while..." I saw that chapter 1 was free-to-play and chapter 2 was pretty cheap, which is great because I got to experience the game without being locked in. Four hours of gameplay later, my fiance sees my screen and goes "ooh what are you playing?" and I said "It's called Cube Escape: Paradox and it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FANTASTIC!". This led to him laughing at me for a good 2 minutes. Not because of what I said, but because of the fervor with which I said it. As he wiped the tears from his eyes, I asked "did I look as manic and crazed as I sounded?" He confirmed that I did indeed... hence the laughter. I tried to explain to him... and failed, so I wont try to explain it to you. But let me just say that It is my intention to play every chapter, gain every achievement, and pretty much just live at Rusty Lake for the foreseeable future. I will also say, the game with the giant head... is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece. The ending got me so hyped that I'm buying chapter 2 IMMEDIATELY... after I see if there's any achievements left in chapter 1
I really enjoyed the game, it takes a bit of out-of-the box thinking, but overall a fun game.
