About
In Cube Chaos you place cubes each of which has its own abilities and behaviours.
In practice it plays like a unique rogue-lite mix of rts, autobattler and towerdefense.
Call forth a rat above every non rat ally,
use catapults to catapult those rats past the enemy defenses,
meanwhile defend yourself with self repairing shield walls and
summon lightning clouds which teleport above enemies and zap them.
Just to sample a strategy.

Sure Triple Shot makes your guns shoot 3 bullets sometimes, but it also makes your anthills make more ants, your replicating crabs might triplicate, your dead enemies might turn into 3 zombies.
The perks in this game are meant to allow for strange and unusual strategies outside of what I the developer directly intended.
Want to buy something in the shop but didn't collect enough gold? Just go into debt!
Want to stack a perk 8 times in exchange for some of the most horrible curses my mind could cook up? Cursed trades got you covered!
Cube Chaos encourages you to take calculated risks and reap the rewards of living on the edge of defeat, rewarding you with both memorably victories, teaching defeats and if you are very lucky something so completely broken I'll have to consider adjusting it in the next balance patch.

550+ handmade Units used by both you and your AI opponents.

pretty great. the demo will tell you if you're interested but this is solidly in the salad sorter genre and later unlocks get absurdly complicated. very innovative and cool, very unique, worth every penny. A++
If you like strategy games and think about getting this game: do it - it's worth it, hands down very neat gem🤌 Really great and unique strategy game, quite complex to digest but fun if get into it, everything has a detailed explanation and description to it so you can grasp the game's mechanics and elements just fine, i like the creativity and depth in approach and effort that developer put in this game despite its seeming simplicity. I really like how you can manage any resource however you like and go into negatives
(THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES)
: Only have 100 mana and it's ticking slow? Spawn many units at once and go into -300 mana. Can't afford something in the shop? Borrow some money to get it. Many other build options and units unlock over time as you play, giving you more things to try on top of already wide variety of different blocks to discover. Overall very thoroughly interesting and solid tactical roguelike.
Great game. Add more soundtracks please, it gets repetitive so fast...
it's really fun :> very noitesque deckbuilding stuff going on, i'll sometimes get a crazy build rolling before i accidentally grab some nasty anti-synergy and destroy myself
This is like the Dwarf Fortress of roguelites, I really want to like this game but I just haven't played enough, there are just so many things to know
Use one cube to make duplicates of another cube placed behind it. The duplicate is dropped to a third cube that turns the duplicate into a cube in my hand that I can place for free. You can animate a rock cube that's normally used as a wall to go forth and fight your enemies. Stack mana regen so high you die instantly. Breathe a sigh of relief when you have a back-up leader. Lose the game because your back-up leader is a chunk of stone that spawned at map gen, sitting right next to the enemy leader. Hurt your own allies to hurt your enemies. Give the cube you're hurting a max health buff that increases over time. Give them 200 health and win the match with one attack on it. There are too many ways to win and many ways to lose in unexpected ways. Finding all the silly ways to win makes this game unique beyond any game I've played. Sometimes it's the one strategy you didn't think would work that turns an impossible match into an easy win. Such a good game.
An amazing game and surprised I hadn't reviewed it already! Deck building strategy taken to a logical extreme with a lot of replay value just due to what you can stumble across in any given run. The way classes/races are set up jack it up a few notches too if you like to overspecialize (or over generalize if you just like number go up). If you play roguelikes and like any sort of strategy genre I'd say give it a chance!
exiled my debt collectors from reality irreversibly, and it wasn't even the highlight of the run
If you never did, you should try Cube Chaos one day, it's a very deep defense/offense game with minimal graphics where the cubes you and your opponent set down can litteraly change the game rules, affect physics and already set cubes as everything is a cube (air, soil, water, units even you and your opponent) and create insane synergies. It's not a well know game, made by only one person, but it's incredibly deep and there's a massive amount of unlockable cubes and synergies to discover, I really recommend it if you want to try something different than the usual TD formulas.
i like this game but i wish it didn't lag when i add 84 extra layers of obsidian to the edges of the map and i also want the camera to spawn in the middle
