Noticed this game and had to grab it, played this on my Kongregate days, was a fan back then and still am now Despite my time at this post i have completed this game (On Kong) But bought it to support the developer when i noticed it was on steam. If you Like Turn based RPGS like the REAL Final Fantasies (Not that Open Combat they devolved it into) then i'm certain this will be a rather enjoyable game for you despite its "Low quality artwork" as some would put it, If your one of THOSE people, then go elsewhere, but if can appreciate a game at face value and all the hard work a developer put into it knowing this is a dying Genre then Kudos to you. Defiantly Enjoyed Almost all of the aspects of this game, Do wish you could have eventually recruited the original cast of characters for the Nostalga of 1 to swap into at the end (Especially Our favorite Hammer Wielding Maniac Hahaha!) So Enjoy the Money, and for the rest of you, i DO recommend this title, even if my "Time" At review is ultimately i believe the word is suspicious? whatever the case ill end it here.

Its a fun game with a lot of mini games, side quests and other content to keep you entertained, but it feels somewhat incomplete. For example, each character gets all the level 1 single target and AOE elemental spells, but only gets 2 level 2 single target, 2 level 2 AOE, and one level 3 single target elemental spell. Only two characters get the strongest heal-all spell, and just one gets auto revive, so the characters all end up as physical attack characters with slightly different stats. There's no room to specialise to healers or casters. A couple of useful skills are entirely missing, like a spell to remove buffs from an enemy, meaning debuffing requires casting individual nerf spells (which can be resisted, sometimes for multiple turns). Its still a fun and varied example of the jrpg genre, but it could be so much more.

best RPG of all time

It's my childhood game that i finshed on kongergate more than 4 times, so watch how suprised i was when there was a updated steam version. and yep it's still the classic just with some extra mini games and content. if you want a simple RPG with that feels like a game you played in school, play it.

I don't write many reviews but this tiny RPG has been a longtime favorite of mine. A great value if one is looking for a classic style RPG!

wow i love crystal story 2

Хорошая жрпг с простой графикой.

童年补票，前5章主线流程在8小时左右，到第六章开始就是纯粹的刷刷刷了，去掉刷刷刷的部分游戏主线也算得上优秀，也内置了很多小游戏，也不全都无聊我其实还挺喜欢开箱子的解密的（即使很多小游戏实在让人喜欢不起来，我不想再玩一次滑雪了）。总的来说，游戏还不错，值得游玩。
