HALA AKLIMDA Bİ YERDESİN
I've never got to play the original Crysis 2 from back in the day when this game first got out, I was too young and at the time didn't have a decent PC to actually run it. Fast forward 2026 I finally got to play it's remastered version. Crysis 2 is a good FPS single-player shooter which definitely has some flaws, even in it's remastered version, so let's take a closer look. Main Character Unlike the first game, where you play as covert ops operative, Nomad, you start off as a marine named Alcatraz. He's a new character in the franchise at this point, and you get to wear the nanosuit handed out by the operative named Prophet,
who offs himself at the start of the game
. Crysis 2 Remastered portrays Alcatraz as those silent type protagonists that don't say a word through the whole game, which was relatively common misconception of main characters back in the day. Probably because devs wanted the player to feel like the main character, but I never really liked that, it's dumb especially when other NPCs are talking to you. You just stand there like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ silently staring at them and the game goes on regardless and NPCs act like nothing happens. So Alcatraz is not really a character, there's nothing to it, except that he's a marine. It's bland and I was almost totally put off by this. Story The story is somewhat decent, it picks off some time after the events of the first game except this time you're in New York instead of the jungle. We get to continue fighting against human and alien threat, similar like in the first game and you can almost separate the game in two halves because of the type of enemies you face in them most of the time. First few chapters are slow but somewhere by the mid point it gets very interesting and it actually made me stick to it to the end. The nanosuit is like in the center of it all and the story mostly revolves around it as you get to understand its abilities more and more as the story develops. Gameplay Crysis 2 Remastered can be mostly classified as a true corridor shooter. The game is mostly linear, where you follow one objective at the time so it can be a bit frustrating to some players. it's almost like playing fetch quests except you get to kill things so it's not all that bad. Character movement is rather basic and you get to use nanosuit Armor and Cloak abilities which let's you tailor your playstyle as much as you want. You want to play a stealth game, Crysis 2 fully allows that. You want to go all-in guns blazing, you can do that too and I personally think that is commendable. Gun variety is decent, some guns feel great to shoot with, some are downright awful, but then again it's a thing of preference. Suit customization is very barebone and some suit abilities can break the game. The stealth ability that allows being cloaked for longer period of times made this game a walk in the park in the last few chapters even on Veteran difficulty. Graphics This is a remastered version of the game, which means I expected better visuals than the original. Crytek uses it's Cryengine which, at the time, was peak of graphical processing power. The remastered version is not very different than the original in terms of graphics, only notable change that I noticed is the lighting and global illumination upgrades. Everything else looks relatively the same. I'm not personally big on graphics, so this doesn't really bother me much. Conclusion Crysis 2 Remastered can definitely show signs of aging at the time, it doesn't differ much from it's original back in the 2011, but for today's standards it still feels like a decent shooter. Characterization could be done better and the gameplay could have more variety but all in all as a package it gets a solid score for me. I must admit I almost dropped it completely at few times since the game can get really frustrating, but I decided to stick to it and I'm glad I did.
7.5/10
Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great game still holds up today
