I know everyone's cracking jokes at this game and i can see why but i'ma judge it on it's merits. It's a dungeon crawler with very lite rpg elements. There's 7 levels with a boss on each level. You collect a certain number of keys each level then goto the boss area and fight him. There's a few melee weapons and ranged weapons you can choose from. I stuck with the halberd when i unlocked it. The combat in this game is laughably easy. I am not even sure the rpg leveling mechanics even worked as i maxed all 3 out at level 10 and not a single difference at all. All in all this game is bad. Really bad but it's clearly super low budget and made by one person most likely. It's a decent time all in all. You could do much worse for the price. The game runs perfectly, no crashes, and the sound design is really good.
I mean, how can you go wrong? Repetitive enemies, level design, and monsters. A stunningly small amount of weapons and such, i mean, this game has it all. Why play trash like 'The Legend of Grimrock', with its varied monsters and environmental design, decent puzzles and good combat and character development....who needs a game like that when you can have the Ultimate Generic Dungeon Crawler in all of existence?!? Do not buy it on sale though, the creator(s) REALLY need your money for the sequel ;)
