Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 15.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
WARNING: This game is not recommended for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Cruelty Squad is a tactical first person shooter set in the hardcore gig economy of corporate liquidations. You're an emotionally dead combat-substance fueled grunt of Cruelty Squad, a depraved subsidiary company tasked with performing wetworks for its host conglomerate. Will you make the Corporate Arch Demoness proud or succumb to bitter tears of failure?
Highly kinematic tactical gameplay using varied weapons such as the flechette shotgun, silenced 10mm pistol, radiation emitter, dart gun, corrosive gas launcher and more.
No handholding!
All of the missions have multiple viable approaches and routes. Plan out your equipment loadout to gain a tactical advantage. Choose between non-lethal and lethal options. Throw toilet bowls at enemies.

Open objective based gameplay, in each mission your goal is to kill or destroy your targets before heading for the exit.
Revisit earlier missions and try to beat your best time. Can you S-rank all of the missions?

Schizophrenia simulator. Absolute top
Cruelty Squad is a shining example of why games are art. It is violent, anarchistic and intentionally hostile and unnerving, twisting the concept of a first-person immersive sim into an alien, yet functional direction. The controls are weird, reloading happens by right-clicking and dragging the mouse down and up, but it still works, after a moment of learning. The UI is off-putting but gives all the relevant information. The gameplay is solid: Everything dies basically instantly to any weapon, including the player. The story... I did not detect a story. In lieu of one, Cruelty Squad is all about vibes, which there are plenty of. Not necessarily pleasant vibes, but vibes still. I'm hesitant to describe it more, since you should experience it firsthand. I finished all the missions, except for the secret extra ones. And after watching the Civvie11 review, I realized that in order to get the... ultimate? ending, I had to jump through unexplained hoops, with escalating difficulty and bullhonkey. And I had to give up. I could tolerate the game until it forces me to open a wiki to see how the game ends. I don't have patience for that, and I respect anyone who does. So, if you manage to get to the end, well done, art-appreciator. You deserve a hug.
