Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 15.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
WARNING: This game is not recommended for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Cruelty Squad is a tactical first person shooter set in the hardcore gig economy of corporate liquidations. You're an emotionally dead combat-substance fueled grunt of Cruelty Squad, a depraved subsidiary company tasked with performing wetworks for its host conglomerate. Will you make the Corporate Arch Demoness proud or succumb to bitter tears of failure?
Highly kinematic tactical gameplay using varied weapons such as the flechette shotgun, silenced 10mm pistol, radiation emitter, dart gun, corrosive gas launcher and more.
No handholding!
All of the missions have multiple viable approaches and routes. Plan out your equipment loadout to gain a tactical advantage. Choose between non-lethal and lethal options. Throw toilet bowls at enemies.
Fight and sneak through offices, suburbs, police stations and secret compounds. Find and unlock hidden equipment and levels.
Open objective based gameplay, in each mission your goal is to kill or destroy your targets before heading for the exit.
Revisit earlier missions and try to beat your best time. Can you S-rank all of the missions?

this game made me question if I hate myself in under 12 hours, also taught me the true CEO mindset. 10/10 don't regret getting all the achievements

one of the best games I have ever played, the first hour or two is brutal but once you get the hang of it, it becomes one of the most rewarding games ever

|EUnG///_A striking example of a piece of art viewed through the mundane lens of ugliness, both in terms of its content, storytelling, and visuals. Yet the overused and clichéd battle of the coprotocrats (♥♥♥♥-glamerates), the surreal setting that’s part acidic neo-punk and part visceral bio-punk, along with the простор for varied progression and open freedom in everything (from earning currency, emotions, movement styles and pace, to showcasing one’s skills and gaming experience) should have left players indifferent, and at times even provoked outright repulsion. Only the drive to achieve, the unjust struggle against obstacles, and the usual pleasure of gaming can lift the shackles of societal opinion, but this is far from true fulfillment in Life! Ahead lies only the purification of every worthy cyberspace from the burdens of an unfinished state, much like peeling an onion: onion layer one, onion layer two, onion layer three... I can’t recommend this «creation» to other players, not because it’s deliberately terrible in every aspect (shooting, difficulty, 3D level design), nor because the consistent Art Deco style in some locations fails to convey the artist Ville Kallio’s vision, or because it’s all done on the whim of the main insane provocateur and hype-seeker, the director of Consumer Softproducts studio, tired of boring, monotonous, and «just like everyone else» AAAA-projects. I can’t recommend this game for yet another futile attempt by indie studios to prove they can create something worthy of attention. Indeed, you won’t gain anything new from this approach to the game, but only a select few can truly grasp and acknowledge the lack of ideas and wasted time, through relentlessly overcoming the subjective barrier known as «Games are art» and engaging in self-reflection... The Golden Age of video games is still ahead, fellow users of the Dead Internet! Play whatever you want, not for the sake of in-game achievements, threats, condemnation, or approval from the public, friends, or loved ones. Play because you want the experience and the feeling of being part of the game you've chosen, instead of letting your library collect dust with a number of games you never play, and in defiance of current policies.
Embracer needs to let Eidos Montreal hurry the ♥♥♥♥ up and make a new Deus Ex title like this
Cut the crap with all this existential ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I just wanna fish ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Very Interesting metaphorically. Androgen Assault is where the game really splits. Not sure why the target is a giant green blob thing? this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confusing me. How the ♥♥♥♥ was I supposed to know the second target is this weird green blob? how does anyone understand that? Why is it hidden behind a skull gate? I do not understand this game at all Edit: I barely read the dialogue, I just wing the game. I'm tired of this lore ♥♥♥♥ stretching gameplay. I'm trying to piece together the story. you kill a bunch of ceos, politicians, then the cops come for you and you have to kill your landlord and escape there's some kind of cancer scare, and some goggles that let you "see" a secret difficulty path also has some obscure mechanic where you change the internal difficulty of the game by changing your screen's resolution. some other secret ending involves going into a secret area with weird enemies, some metaphor about god, and it ends with a poem from george bastille.
A work of art, and I mean that. A very ugly work of art that hates you. If you think of video games as art or if you like politics in your games, give this a try
