A good little old school survival horror game. A nice balance of combat, exploration, and puzzle solving even if it is a bit on the easy side.
The environments are detailed, and fit the theme well, a nice psx asthetic too. Items, traps, and enemies can get hidden in the levels in a good way.
The game is a nice length too, around 6hrs, with the story being quite compelling for its simplicity. I thought the monster designs were very cool.
There are a couple of cons, I'm not a fan of the characters look, think it would be a lot better if they went with classic ps1 RE style characters instead of the blocky maniquines but thats personal preference. I didn`t like the top down rotatable camera nor the aiming that comes with it. I think the laser goes through targets making it difficult to determine if you can hit them or not. Would have been much better with fixed cameras or over the shoulder.
If you are a fan of survival horrors I`d definitely recommend this one especially if you can get it on sale. I look forwards to what ever this indie dev makes next.
