It was good to be using some braincells again, it felt like scraping the dust from my thinking-neurons. I think this puzzle game was more difficult than the other puzzle games of this developer, though I found the solving process less satisfying than Hexcells. Most levels took me longer than I expected, but they were all solvable with logic. Some levels required ten minutes of staring before the solution hit, but it felt great when it worked out.
CrossCells is made by the same developer behind the Hexcells series and SquareCells. Unfortunately, it feels like a downgrade compared to their previous work. There's no dark mode or level reset option, and the puzzles don't tell you if you've made a mistake. This becomes a issue in the later levels, as there can be multiple valid solutions in any given row or column, which can lead you down the wrong path. Ultimately, solving the puzzles don't feel as satisfying as it did in Hexcells or SquareCells. I don't recommend getting this game unless you pick it up as part of the Logic Puzzle Pack.

I would have to say that this game is the best out of the developer's logic games series. The game is about making numbers add up to the given requirements, which allows for more interesting combinations. The operations are carried out from left to right, allowing multiplication cells to create asymmetric totals. The only issue I have is that the game does not give instant feedback on whether a choice is right, and there is no reset button when you find out you do mess out (exiting and re-entering works though). I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a puzzle game to play.
Really neutral on this one. It's quite satisfying to solve the puzzle and figure it out, but levels rarely allow you to get into 'flow' of actually SOLVING the puzzle. I would say around 25% of this game is just a tutorial or demonstration, 25% has some really good levels, 25% is average, and another 25% is just extremely hard and frustrating. The difficulty curve is very nonlinear and I found myself just jumping back and fourth. There were a couple levels that I had to go back to and had a great time, and others that I spent multiple days and sessions trying to figure out what the 'path' to solving a level was and couldn't crack it. When looking up a guide for those levels...it felt like I was already close enough to the solution, like "didn't I try that combination already?" Which is a big letdown. You'll know if you can ignore this.
Short and fun logic puzzle game in similar category as sudoku or nonogram. I wish there were undo/redo button and temporary save functions
番号の並びを勘違いして1~5→11~15→21~25→31…と解いていて 説明なしにルール追加されたな~何か急に難しくなったなあ~とか思いながら遊んでた 凄いアホ
Nice little puzzle game
