There are a few good Trivia games on Steam, and this is one of the best. I had a blast playing it with my family. Brain Show is a fun game you can play locally or online between two and eight players. It lets you choose your character and name from a predetermined list, and the announcer will call you by them. The game is fully voiced and features a variety of questions. I have played the game for almost 13 hours, and only in the last couple of rounds did I get two repeated questions. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3766338207 In each playthrough, you have 5 rounds, then a grand final randomly selected from various gameplay modes. One where you volunteer to answer quickly by pressing the buzzer, others where a vacuum sucks your points while you must answer right. The balloons and the cube were where you had only three chances to give the wrong answer before you would be eliminated from the round. I enjoyed the Bet Your Points round the most, where you bet a specific number of points on whether the chosen person will answer right or wrong. The Dynamite Round is the most stressful; if other people are not getting the right answer before passing the Dynamite, it depends on the whole team's answers who will be lucky enough not to be exploded and lose the points they earned from answering in this round. The 50/50 Competition always made me laugh when we ran to the wrong answer and fell down the stage. After each round, a player is randomly selected to choose the topic of the upcoming questions. There are so many categories in the game, but each round one will choose from four different categories. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3761722831 The more people you get from an online match or playing locally with friends, the longer the rounds will be. I have noticed that with 8 players, gameplay lasts 30 minutes. Once you reach the grand final, all the points you've earned will be turned into a percentage representing your life. If you fail to answer, other people will shoot you until you reach 0% and fall into a water tank and be eliminated. It was funny to see how people take things personally and shoot each other. After a couple of rounds, you'll be presented with a rescue question to earn more life force to keep going. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3761723089 Pros: +Classic Trivia game. +Fun artwork. +Good soundtracks (But repetitive) +Cross-platform play. (PC & PS5; you can't crossplay on mobile) +Multiplayer (You can create a private game) +Fully Voiced. +Different gameplay in each round. +Multiple question categories. Cons: -No Leaderboard -No history of your gameplay or accumulative wins/loses. -You can't customize how your character looks, and the same character can be used by multiple people at the same time. -No Steam achievements. I'm not sure if I was playing against real people or AI, but some of them were really good. I have tried the mobile game, which actually indicates if the player is AI by labeling them; I haven't seen this on the Steam version, though.
Clearly uses undisclosed AI to generate questions. Grammar is incorrect, questions are poorly written and indecipherable, answers are often entirely incorrect. Disgraceful scam of a product.

────────────────────────────
English / Inglês Below is the English version of this review.

My Opinion
When I first saw Brain Show: Party Game, I expected it to be just another trivia game to play with friends. After a few matches, I realized it definitely delivers plenty of laughs... but also a few frustrations. The gameplay is fun and does a great job of keeping everyone engaged. The biggest issue, however, is playing through Remote Play Together. The host has a significant advantage because of the lower latency, which makes some rounds feel unfair. After trying it myself, I came to the conclusion that this is one of those games where everyone should ideally own a copy. What disappointed me the most was the lack of polish. The art direction is almost nonexistent, and the Portuguese translation feels like it was largely generated by AI. Several questions sound awkward or even lose their original meaning. It's a shame because with more care put into the writing and localization, this game could easily be much better. Even with those flaws, I almost always end up wanting to play another round. The fun comes much more from the people you're playing with than from the game itself, but that's enough to keep bringing me back. The biggest downside is the price. Both the regular price and the discounted price feel too high for the level of polish the game currently offers.
Very bad game. All of it is made by AI, the pronunciation of the questions is horrific, the audio does not always correspond to the question, and several answers are possible. We even got a question that had no true answers, because that game is just AI ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Don't buy it or refund it.
