Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 16 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really great game. Embraces the free-aim hard, and as a result, makes for more interesting use of it than pretty much any other game that's tried the same sort of thing. The effect of gravity alone might've been enough to keep lining up headshots through the gaps of tightly hitbox'd terrain thrilling, but layered on top of that is a mountain of genuinely game-changing mechanics, whether it's an upgrade that makes your shotgun pellets explode, riot shields that necessitate L-shaped approaches, or just a magic ray gun that fires without an arc. These aren't just statistical upgrades or bonus status effects tacked onto your weapon -- they'll fundamentally change how you approach problems on the map. Then, layer the roguelike mix-and-match on top of that, and you've got all different sorts of fun popping up every run. Doesn't have the highest production values, could use some more granular difficulty, but it looks clean, runs great, plays snappy. Overall fantastic stuff.
Game is super dope. An easy 10-20 hours of fun in just the Single Player. The team building system is deep enough to have a lot of fun with for different playthroughs.

Very natural combination of an XCOM-like and aiming my shots and grenades and ricochets and stuff! I'm surprised I haven't seen a game like this before! I'm very amused by my characters and the enemies both being moved by conveyor belts in real time while I'm aiming, haha. There's a lot of synergies between the weapon types, and the angles and motion on the map designs, similar to the Worms games, and it feels like there's a lot I have yet to discover still. Recommended!
A fun game with a lot of items and weapons that create variety in each run. Wiping out a group of enemies in one attack with a chain of explosions or landing a well-placed shot that barely squeezed between obstacles is very satisfying. Since many of the items are unlocked through completing campaign challenges, there is plenty of replayability. I also like how the maps have a couple of variations so that I'm not playing the exact same maps in each campaign challenge.
I've been following this game since the pretty early stages. Every time I come back I'm excited to check out all the new additions, and the release version here did not disappoint. The tactical combat is well polished, has a slick overall presentation, stuffed with customization and variation for your runs. Looking forward to getting a chance to dive in more soon!
Satisfying headshots. The game has a fun set of items/options/upgrades with a chance for some combos/synergies. The UI is and mechanics are very visually clear. The sound effects are satisfying and the AI is reasonably stupid in the right ways :)
First and most importantly, this game is delightful. Is it "XCOM meets Worms" like everybody says? Yeah, basically. The pacing is good, and it's a quality experience whether you're playing solo or multiplayer (this is the only game besides Bomberman that all three of my kids like to play head-to-head). The aiming is tough but mostly fair---honestly I like it better here than I did in Phoenix Point (although I do always get rid of the mortar and the grenade ASAP). There is some real jank -- In particular, the tank boss is glitchy as all hell (although never to the point that I couldn't complete a battle). The game also would have benefited from more map variety. Overall, though, Critter Crossfire is an impressive offering from a one-man developer. My kids and I have gotten a ton of mileage out of it.
Having lots of fun so far. Reminds me of Worms but in 3D and a lot more tactics involved.
Have been enjoying this game. A creative mixture of a few different genres that makes it feel fresh. Would recommend it. I really like the rouge-lite aspect of the campaign. It can feel frustrating when one mistake can lead to one of your characters dieing and losing the match. However the upgrades between rounds helps that feel a lot less frustrating. Haven't gotten a chance to play the multiplayer mode yet. Seems fun though.
This is the XCOM/Mario Rabbids for people who hate trusting RNG. Aiming your own shots is way more fun than it ought to be in this genre. When you nail a perfect bounce or long shot? It feels amazing. Also, the item variety is refreshing. I was constantly swapping loadouts for my squad to make super soldiers. A insta-tap rifle menace that can move and shoot after killing? A shot-gunner that spawns grenades where they hit for each pellet? Hell yeah. I originally played the hell out of the initial demo and I can see so much has changed that I will need to do a whole new play-through to see everything the game now has to offer. Kudos to the developer for putting so much more into it since then! If you like strategy games but want something that doesn’t take itself too seriously and lets you pull off dumb, awesome plays — this is it. Can’t wait to dive deeper on this version!
