This is a story about her and him. This is also a story about meeting and parting. Perhaps it is a very simple story. It may be a very complicated story. A simple FAREWELL ...... And not a grand farewell. If you can feel the joy and sorrow we pour in, it is a great encouragement to us.

♥I really impressive the plot like this.♥ This game may be a game that makes me want to diligent study on learning Chinese.☻!Just kidding! Actually, I just want to play it again in English version.
Not a review, just a comment. I started to play Hollowings' visual novels these days. I began with "Snow Night" (雪华, Xue Hua), which is a short vn but has a moving story. The programming and voice acting are also doing well. This game gave me a good first impression of Hollowings. Then I tried this "Crimson Imprint plus -Nonexistent Christmas-" (赤印plus不存在的圣诞节). The story is longer than "Snow Night" and it has different ending while "Snow Night" is single-ending. Luckily I got the good ending at the first time. It seems that the good ending is newly added. It's always a good thing to create a good ending for a vn. As for the bad ending… Hmm… I'll try it later although I hate bad ending. I can predict that it would be a very sad story. :( I would like to try more games made by Hollowings but unlikely not all of their games are released on Steam. The physical copys are not for sale at the moment.

抛开女主身份不谈,我释怀了
мне лень разбираться о чем игра, но раз она умирает после секиса с ним то я думаю она заболела венерическим заболеванием
Crimson Imprint plus - Nonexistent Christmas, developed and published by Hollowings, is an indie visual novel that blends melancholy romance with emotional storytelling in a distinctly minimalist way. It belongs to that particular niche of visual novels that are less about choice and consequence and more about feeling—about the fleeting nature of connection, the inevitability of parting, and the delicate emotions that bloom in between. The game presents itself as “a story about her and him, about meeting and parting, a simple farewell and not a grand one,” setting a tone that is understated yet intimate. Its title alone evokes contradiction and sorrow, suggesting both warmth and emptiness, and the game lives up to that duality with quiet confidence. At its core, Crimson Imprint plus - Nonexistent Christmas is built around emotional atmosphere rather than gameplay complexity. The player experiences a deeply personal story told through a combination of still illustrations, dialogue, and soft background music. The narrative explores love, loss, and memory—universal themes filtered through the lens of a small, personal story. While it may seem simple on the surface, its strength lies in the sincerity of its writing and the mood it creates. The pacing is slow and deliberate, allowing the emotional weight of each line to settle. The game encourages introspection, asking players not to rush through the experience but to linger on its silences and the quiet melancholy that fills its world. The presentation, like many indie visual novels, is minimalist but effective. The art style favors warm colors and delicate character designs that emphasize emotion through expression and posture rather than grand spectacle. There’s a sense of intimacy in how scenes are composed, as though you’re peering into a private moment that wasn’t meant to be witnessed. The soundtrack is gentle and atmospheric, often serving as the emotional undercurrent to scenes where words fall away. The developers clearly prioritized emotional resonance over technical polish, and while it lacks the flashiness of higher-budget titles, it succeeds in creating a mood that lingers long after the credits roll. One of the more defining aspects of Crimson Imprint is its tone—it doesn’t seek to dazzle or shock, but to evoke a bittersweet sense of closure. The writing, though simple, carries a poetic quality that makes the story feel timeless, like a quiet memory replayed on a cold winter night. There’s an honesty to its depiction of love and distance, as it avoids the melodrama common in romance visual novels and instead opts for emotional restraint. The “Nonexistent Christmas” of the title becomes a metaphor for absence—the kind of emptiness left behind after something beautiful fades. It’s this subtle emotional texture that makes the story memorable, and why players who appreciate narrative-driven experiences often respond so positively to it. However, it’s important to note that Crimson Imprint plus - Nonexistent Christmas is very much a niche experience. The game is available only in Simplified Chinese, and as of now, there is no official English translation. This limits its accessibility for a global audience and means that many potential players will miss out on the nuances of its storytelling. The lack of localization doesn’t just affect comprehension; it also affects emotional connection, as the subtle poetry of the writing can’t be fully appreciated without understanding the original language. For players fluent in Chinese, this isn’t a problem, but for others, it remains a significant barrier. From a technical standpoint, the game is light and runs easily on almost any system. It’s a compact experience that doesn’t require high-end hardware or long time commitments. The developer’s approach is modest, focusing entirely on story and atmosphere rather than innovation in mechanics. The Steam version also includes achievements and trading cards, giving collectors a small extra incentive to explore it fully. Despite a few minor technical imperfections—occasional text overlap or font inconsistencies—the overall experience is stable and thoughtfully presented. Crimson Imprint plus - Nonexistent Christmas ultimately succeeds in what it sets out to do: to deliver a short, poignant emotional journey that captures the ache of memory and the quiet beauty of farewell. It’s a game that feels personal, almost like reading a handwritten letter rather than a polished novel. The sincerity behind its design is what resonates most—it doesn’t try to be more than it is, and that authenticity is what makes it special. For players who value introspective, emotionally grounded visual novels and who can experience it in its original language, this title stands as a small but genuine piece of interactive storytelling art. It is a reminder that not all goodbyes are grand, and that sometimes the most powerful stories are the ones whispered softly, just before the silence returns. Rating: 9/10
