Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.67/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Fight using moves and guards based on realistic fighting techniques. Perform feints, thrusts, cuts and spinning moves to open up your enemies for a fatal hit.
Each hero has magical abilities to compliment their fighting style. You can harness the winds and command thunder, raise flames or call upon darkness to engulf you. As you gain more experience you can expand on your physical and magical skills.
Take the heads of your opponents, bring them down to their knees for a finishing blow, or spill their insides out. Deliver the Law of the King and make an example out of your enemies.
Raid old ruins and magic towers, climb down dark caverns and explore mystical forests. Magical artifacts are waiting to be discovered in every corner of the world, which you can explore at your own pace and in any order you like.

Beautiful and serious game.
Crimson Capes bardzo mi się podoba. Zauważam tutaj inspirację gatunkiem souls-like, a dokładnie Sekiro. Gra posiada rozbudowaną mapę i zdolności typowe dla metroidvani.
This is a great follow up to Windmills. The challenge is perfect and the new combat system is rewarding. You can play in a lot of different styles and there's a focus on swordplay over stat upgrades. An excellent game that doesn't overstay its welcome.

Not as maze-like as a lot of metroidvania games are. Amazing visuals and great gameplay. The oldschool manual is really cool too.
it's ok, i've played worse
Very nice game, cool pixelart animations. If you like pixel art and RPG-Lite then you will probably like the game.
I thoroughly enjoyed its visceral combat.
Only near the end of this game did I discover that it's actually a prequel to an earlier game by the dev. There is a story to the game that acts more as background as you battle your way along but it has a satisfying culmination that likely feeds into the original game. You play as one of four 'Crimson Capes', a Witcher-esque witch/mage/demon hunter in the employ of the king. It's tagged as a souls-like in Steam. It's definitely difficult and focuses on defeating bosses. In fact, to 'win' you don't have to make it through levels. Despite being a metroidvania, almost all of the map can be reached at any time without unlocking new abilities. Advancing to the final boss just takes beating all of the normal bosses, which can be done in any order. I don't know what true souls-like fans would think of this but I liked it. The combat was definitely challenging. It's your basic dodge, parry, light attack, heavy attack, and special attack system. Dodge is kind of crap but parry is crucial. Interruption is a key mechanic in combat. Getting interrupted can lead to being destroyed but it works in reverse, as well. A well-timed parry staggers an enemy and allows both a devastating blow and a chance to interrupt and wittle down their health. The background is surprisingly serene for the storyline. For a dark fantasy about hunting down mind-controlling mages or cannibal monsters, much of the backdrop is pleasant rolling hills with a birdsong score. I played it on Steam Deck and it worked perfectly.
Love when games are worth the shekels
This game is wonderful, it is visually amazing, and beautiful. The combat is unique and a lot of fun once you get the hang of it, there are a few things that aren't perfect but nothing is. This game makes a great pair to Windmills. I cannot recommend either of these enough. A+ game
