Cricket Captain 2020 is the perfect companion if you are missing live matches, as the hugely anticipated season is disrupted. We have created the 2020 season as it was originally intended, including rain-delays in one-day matches, and the new 100 ball competition.

This is an awful game that I found quite easy to enjoy. Let me explain. The graphics are terrible. I remember better graphics on Brian Lara Cricket on a Playstation 1 about 20 years ago. The gameplay is a bit naff too. My team always seems to lose no matter what strategy I do, who I pick, however much aggression I use bowling and batting. It's a rubbish game. But still I've spent 7 hours of my life playing it the past two days. Why? Because it's the nerdy cricket stats thing which I think many cricket almanacs have. There's obsessing over the team's numbers, and runs, and wickets, and strategy - no matter how hopeless it is. This game could run on a phone or tablet quite easily. But this is a game that's easy to get a bit lost in and forget about the rest of the world. Should you pay £10+ for it? Probably not. Will the devs change the gameplay to make it more modern? Probably not. Is this a ridiculous franchise that brings out the same game every year? Probably! But it's a bit like Euro truck simulator or something zen like that. You don't watch cricket for it's intensity. You watch 4 days for it to fizzle out in a draw with some soggy tuna mayo sandwiches in a tupperware box, with a flask of tea and a giant daily telegraph to block out the sun. And for that kind of wierdo - this game has appeal. Thank you for making it!

waste of money
This game doesn't open and keeps crashing. A small pop up window appears stating that the game is opening and then that's it. Its doesn't open.
no tutorial, clunky.
This game is beyond dreadful and should only be a game given away FOC. There is no skill element to it what-so-ever. Even on very easy mode nothing you do (which is very limited anyway) makes any difference. Bowling to a batmans weakness makes no difference. If clicking the next over button is your idea of fun then this is the game for you, as that is pretty much all you do. Complete waste of money.
Shocking game, why do we want to play a game in which the opponents can just get partnerships at every single position. 300 before you get your first wicket. do not buy I'm going to get a refund straight away.
Worth it for the nostalgic vibe if you haven't played it in a while. Probably not if you've played any recent editions.
A bit monotanous after a while...all the playing field s look the same.
If you have owned a version of this game since 2005, then don't bother buying this. The game is solid, but there is virtually no improvement in the last 15 years. Still no player attributes, the graphics are really poor, commentary is 20 years old now and has never been updated. Save your money.
