About
Creeper World IXE is a real-time strategy game in the Creeper World franchise with groundbreaking pixel-level simulation. Command a squad of ships, coordinate your tactics, and fight back the alien menace known as "The Creeper," an all-consuming fluid enemy that has already devoured thousands of colonies.
Your mission: stop the Creeper's endless advance or all life in the universe will perish. Unlike previous encounters, humanity now possesses a technological advantage that you can harness not only to survive, but to dominate the galaxy.

In Creeper World IXE you will liberate and explore hundreds of worlds in this real-time strategy game where the enemy is a fluid and every pixel of the terrain is simulated. Terraform through dozens of terrain types to use gravity and nature against the enemy. Bring awesome new weapons to use against chambers of compressed Creeper that explode outwards with ripple and wave mechanics.
Combine sand, particle, and creeper fluid simulations to open up new strategies and threats. Bring multi-weapon units to a dynamic battlefield as you explore worlds for secrets of the Creeper. Gain experience from your victories and unlock new and amazing technologies to help in your fight.
Create and play custom maps with new and original units made by the community or yourself! 2D-pixel graphics are married with a detailed and robust custom map and unit creation system, so nearly anyone with an idea can make a unit or a mission and share it with others. Use built-in control modules, or craft your own with robust built-in RPL scripting.
The Creeper is an ancient fluid-like enemy that relentlessly spreads across terra-formable terrain; engulfing and destroying anything that crosses its path. With sufficient firepower, you can push back the Creeper. But, in most cases it cannot be killed entirely by simply shooting at it. It is a foe that constantly regenerates through Creeper Emitters in its never-ending goal of consuming all living matter.
The only way to stop the creeper is to find and destroy the emitters and destroy the IXE Cores on each planet. Only by finding all of the cores and activating them simultaneously will The Creeper be destroyed and the planet saved. Achieving this goal will be no easy task. Command your squad of ships carefully.
Explore each planet while making sure you hold your ground. Locate, activate and destroy the IXE Cores. As easy as this might seem, at first glance, The Creeper will constantly push to thwart your efforts and attack in surprising ways to throw you off balance. Keep a cool head, be prepared, and use the environment to your advantage. That is the key to your success.

The game is so much worse compared to the other Creeperworld games. Just like many games before (ahem Supreme Commander 2) they stray too far from the original reason why people play the game. Freedom and unit spam. The maps feel cramped, and most of the game is sometimes just fast forward until a section is clear of creeper. I would recommend it if it's on sale, but just be prepared for a different experience from the rest of the games.
creeper world is one of my favorite series of all time, and this game is okay. but it didnt hook me into it like the other games, and i dont know if im willing to try it again. I know and understand that this is a labor of love from the developers but the question is, Would You Recommend This Game To A Friend? and i dont think that i would. many community reviews say the same thing as me but would recommend, idk i dont have 20 bucks to spend on a game i kinda like for an hour. I have gifted several copies of the other creeper worlds and would recommend doing that if you want to give these guys a couple extra bucks, IMHO you and your friends would enjoy those much more. buy this if you have tried the rest of the series and are just looking for a little more of it with some new twists. it wont be better, but you may enjoy it that way.
I just finished the story missions and can say I enjoyed it. The gameplay is solid like other Creeper World installments. If you have experience with other games from this developer, you can be assured it is the same high quality Knuckle Cracker production as the other games. Like others have stated, I would continue to buy games from this dev, even if some of the mechanics seem novel. Overall, if you enjoy blasting creeper and emitters, you will also enjoy this game.
Its decent entry into the creeper world collection. Seems like most of the people that loved CW 4 didnt like this or expected more so maybe take that into consideration for yourself.. The story here was better than it was in 4 but still lacking. Id give the OST a 10/10 really liked it and actually listen to it outside of game also feel like it carries the game a bit.
It's pretty fun. You'll enjoy this if you liked creeper world 2.
This is a nice addition to the Creeper World series. Positive review primarily because it is creeper world. However, the story and dialogs are extremely shallow after what we've seen in previous installments. Physics are experimental, just like the chemistry (with 4 recipes in total :)) and the particle physics. If you loved CW, you have to complete your collection. If this is your first game, try 1-4 or particle fleet first.
It has a different flavor from previous CW games, kind of a mesh in some ways between those and the Particle Fleet spin-off (great game, btw). The flow mechanics of the ships and fluids makes for a different feel of gameplay that has taken a bit to grow on me. I've let the game sit for a bit, and am returning to it to give it another run. I think it stands well on its own, and is still a solid Creeperverse entry. There's a demo available (at least when I wrote this), so give it a shot and see what you think. Be patient to give it some time to express itself and let its mechanics show through, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. You can tell this was a labor of love and an experiment, and I think it's solidly proven itself.
I like it. It deviates from the regular creeper world formula but its still quite fun :D
It's got the same theme as the rest of the Creeper World games, but doesn't really play anything like them, not even Creeper World 2 which has the same sort of side view of the game world. There's no real base building compared to any of the others, and the default mode means you can only build a small number of ships or other units. Unlike Particle Fleet the limited ship options actually feel really restrictive, and it feels kind of like the Free Build mode is essential for it to feel like there's actual gameplay instead of a level being an interactive cutscene. The text is also harder to read than the other games, and can look really odd at times depending on the game resolution or zoom level. It just feels unpolished.
Every gamer in the series is always fantastic, At first I wasn't to sure about this one, but kept playing. It has so many great features that lack in others. I do love that the developer continues to experiment with different types of game play. It always is a joy to play their games. I can't wait for the next game!
