About
Creeper World IXE is a real-time strategy game in the Creeper World franchise with groundbreaking pixel-level simulation. Command a squad of ships, coordinate your tactics, and fight back the alien menace known as "The Creeper," an all-consuming fluid enemy that has already devoured thousands of colonies.
Your mission: stop the Creeper's endless advance or all life in the universe will perish. Unlike previous encounters, humanity now possesses a technological advantage that you can harness not only to survive, but to dominate the galaxy.

In Creeper World IXE you will liberate and explore hundreds of worlds in this real-time strategy game where the enemy is a fluid and every pixel of the terrain is simulated. Terraform through dozens of terrain types to use gravity and nature against the enemy. Bring awesome new weapons to use against chambers of compressed Creeper that explode outwards with ripple and wave mechanics.
Combine sand, particle, and creeper fluid simulations to open up new strategies and threats. Bring multi-weapon units to a dynamic battlefield as you explore worlds for secrets of the Creeper. Gain experience from your victories and unlock new and amazing technologies to help in your fight.
Create and play custom maps with new and original units made by the community or yourself! 2D-pixel graphics are married with a detailed and robust custom map and unit creation system, so nearly anyone with an idea can make a unit or a mission and share it with others. Use built-in control modules, or craft your own with robust built-in RPL scripting.
The Creeper is an ancient fluid-like enemy that relentlessly spreads across terra-formable terrain; engulfing and destroying anything that crosses its path. With sufficient firepower, you can push back the Creeper. But, in most cases it cannot be killed entirely by simply shooting at it. It is a foe that constantly regenerates through Creeper Emitters in its never-ending goal of consuming all living matter.
The only way to stop the creeper is to find and destroy the emitters and destroy the IXE Cores on each planet. Only by finding all of the cores and activating them simultaneously will The Creeper be destroyed and the planet saved. Achieving this goal will be no easy task. Command your squad of ships carefully.
Explore each planet while making sure you hold your ground. Locate, activate and destroy the IXE Cores. As easy as this might seem, at first glance, The Creeper will constantly push to thwart your efforts and attack in surprising ways to throw you off balance. Keep a cool head, be prepared, and use the environment to your advantage. That is the key to your success.

Overall, pretty good game. Creeper World 3 is still the best. I felt like there was a lot of mechanics that were not fully tapped into, such as "the thrower" in that volcano level. Maybe one day there can be an expansion that adds some filler levels will creative ideas. The hard limit on certain ships can drag out levels, but for balance makes sense, and I do like the choice of having to use your weapons wisely, as they cant be everywhere at once.
Feels like an offspin game
A fun take on a classic. Creeper world IXE is just as fun as creeper world 3, and 4.
A very enjoyable game. If you liked any of the other Creeper World's you'll like this one. It's got it's own unique take while also retaining that gameplay we all like from previous games.
Innovative and well-designed RTS, I am definitely in the niche. Feels like a puzzle RTS? ...Or just a more cerebral RTS ...enjoy that the units have different roles and each map requires strategic decisions. Real-time will always be better than turn-based anything ...when will people learn?
This Game makes no sense. I hate this game. I want my money back :-/
It was okay. Its not like the other creeper world games where you fight on a flat surface with an ocean of creeper coming at you and stuff but its got some interesting aspects to it. However, I do wish the story had been a little better. More thought out, better plot, something that wasn't so easily predictable. That part was the disappointing one really. I suppose it was just to get the game out and try something new but still! There could have been some more story, and additional missions. Each star only had a single mission around it, I had hoped to find star systems with multiple missions to choose from but nah. I also found myself not using the chemistry stuff all that much. Finding it easier to just brute force instead of having to make a shielded pot to drop stuff into, suck it back up, drop more stuff into, suck it back up, get the right mixtures, etc. I'll probably just try and grab the last of the achievements though and possible return to the other creeper world games. I'm not so sure I liked this one enough to keep playing it for long. But yea, it was an okay game. Sorry I can't give a soaring recommendation here. :P The small story and lack of many missions relying on player created content just kinda, bleh. :P
This is a strategy game where you position your ships to fight the "creep" which is this ooze that is destroying worlds. Each mission you get a new unit/tool that will help you overcome a very specific problem, and by the end of the game you are supposed to combine them to win. The game is a bit frustrating when you know you will win, it will just take you a few minutes to do so. The units I didn't find interesting. You don't get a lot of unique combos or options, and most of the mission involve you just slowly building up your forces, and taking out the enemy in small engagements.
I'm saying "recommended" with a few caveat, [olist] [*] if you're looking for a creeper world game, this isn't it nothing about really feels the same as other creeper world games. there's unit caps, terrain is rarely a problem and is far more of a tool, and you really don't "control" any territory. [*]the story is dismal I'm pretty sure the story is normally an after thought, but this game tries to do characters and flops painfully hard. [/olist] but game does have is fair gameplay, it has challenging levels and the ships all feel unique and useful in their own ways. It might not a "creeper world" game, but it's still fun
The game felt extremely unpolished with many of the controls feeling janky and unintuative. The moment to moment gameplay felt less enjoyable than other creeper world games with most of the challenge come from trying to pack your ships as tightly as possible in some of the more constrained maps. There were also certain gaps which felt like missing features, for example in one mission I looked away from my command ship and it got destroyed off screen with no alarm sounding that it was being damaged. Overall it just felt like an unpolished mess which just felt less enjoyable than creeper world 2. It does add a little bit to the story, but it felt kind of forced.
