Posted day of / day after release. Here's the thing. I REALLY want to like this game. I like the idea of it, and there is tons of rooms for execution and basically infinite growth. However, calling it a V1 release is stretching it as far as it can go. The core mechanic is present, but the actual act of opening the packs is very unsatisfying. The top of the pack just kind of pops off and there's no exciting reveal to the cards. No notification that a card is new to you, no sparkly effect when you pull something special or rare, no value displayed to get you losing your mind over pulling something truly rare. The card selling mechanic (the only way to get money to purchase more packs) is really rough around the edges. No ability to sell multiple cards in one click, so if you have lots to sell get ready to hear the same brutal cash register noise over and over. I spend more time scrolling through the card selling menu past all the singles I'm keeping to complete my collection to look for the few duplicates so I can CHACHING than I do crackin' packs. I think with some serious work done, this could be a super awesome product, and the options for DLC and more packs is basically limitless. But it needs more work badly before it's near that point. I'll be watching it closely. I WANT to love this and fall deep into an addition hole.
Slow game where you relive the old days of tearing up packets and sticking pictures in albums. If you used to collect various cartoon, soccer, and other theme albums and stickers, this game will bring back some of that nostalgia. However, the game only has five nature albums, each for a different type of animal, such as insects or wildlife, so if you are not interested in this theme, it may not be exciting for you. The gameplay and presentation are rather simple. You are confined to a room, so you can only move between the computer, the desk with albums, and the desk where you open packs. The computer will be your primary screen because this is where you will purchase packs and sell or trade unwanted cards. Sell prices fluctuate often, but unless you are selling a rare card, a few cents will make no difference. Trading is limited because it only occurs through emails, and the requests are frequently for cards you don’t even own. Selling screen is not great because there are no filters, so you have to go through all of your cards and look for the best prices and how many duplicates you have. You start with only one album, and the rest must be purchased for quite a high price. Each album has its own pack, which is divided into standard and premium packs that cost more but increase the likelihood of receiving rare cards. You may also purchase one single pack or a box of 20 packets at a discounted price. Since you start with only 15 dollars, you’ll have no choice but to buy a few basic packs. The bad news is that this game is extremely slow and will take tens of hours to complete. There are no other ways to get money other than selling, and the only thing you get for free is a pack every 20 minutes. However, because this is not an idle game, you will not find a fresh pack when you open the game the following morning. The timer will remain the same as you left it. So, if you want to buy new packs, you must wait for the prices to rise and sell cards. You won’t get anywhere without selling. This might create a problem later because each new album also increases the cost of packs. So while first album sells basic packs for 3$, the last album sells them for 250$.
This game is very good! I am currently streaming the game at the time of writing this, so if you don't mind spoilers and want to the see the game in its entirety come on by. My name on twitch is TheDefiantHydra. So for the review, the cards are so well detailed. From the absolutely beautiful, crystal clear photos. To the shiny texture that looks like it pops out at you on the Golds, and the foil look of the silvers. This game is honestly way better than i thought it would be, and is definitely getting a thumbs up from me. I love sitting here ripping the packs and just listening to music. I have had a blast opening pack and i'm not even through half the game yet. 10/10 would strongly recommend, amazing job to the team that created this game! Would love to one day give some game codes away for this game.
I really enjoy collecting and trading cards. The vintage computer makes the experience more inmersive like I am still an 8 year old and I am completing my album. Feels like the ratatouille critic scene.
Golden Father Boobed on first pack! GOTY 10/10
I'm liking it more than I thought I would. The gaming experience is quiet but enjoyable, just as it would be in real life. You spend hours playing and don't even notice it. The game is worth playing.
Кайфовый кликер . А самое главное не нужно платить деньги за паки)) Для истинных извращенцев))
