After spending a lot of hours in Crab Champions, I can say it’s one of the most fun and surprisingly deep shooters I’ve played. It looks silly at first — you’re a crab with a gun — but once you start playing, the game feels fast, smooth, and way more skill‑based than people think. The movement is the best part. Sliding, double‑jumping, and using abilities together feels great once you learn how to do it well. The guns feel good to use, and the perk system lets you make all kinds of crazy builds. Even after many hours, I still find new combos and new ways to make my runs stronger. The difficulty also builds up in a good way. The early levels are easy, but later islands and higher modes really test your aim, speed, and decision‑making. It’s one of those games where you can clearly feel yourself getting better the more you play. Co‑op is where the game really shines. Playing with friends makes everything more fun. Sharing loot, helping each other, and fighting through tough waves together adds a lot of teamwork. It’s also a great way to help new players learn without stressing them out. The game isn’t perfect, though. There are still some bugs — enemies getting stuck, strange physics moments, or perks not working right. They don’t ruin the game, but they can break the flow of a good run. Online co‑op can also lag sometimes, which can make hits not register or enemies jump around. Crab Champions may look goofy, but it’s a very skill‑based game. You can’t just rely on luck. You need good movement, good aim, and quick thinking. Experienced players will notice how high the skill ceiling really is, especially when going for flawless runs or fast clears. Overall, Crab Champions is a blast — fast, stylish, and deeper than it looks. Even with a few bugs, the gameplay loop is so fun that it’s easy to ignore the small problems. If you like roguelites, skill‑based shooters, or games that are even better with friends, this one is definitely worth playing.
