COVEN

Não só um dos boomer shooters mais divertidos que já joguei como um dos mais memoráveis e isso sendo que ainda está em acesso antecipado com a atualizações de um novo episódio (que estou muito ansioso para jogar). -Jogabilidade agradável, as vezes peca nos primeiros níveis pela distância do dash e a "feature" do crouch boost, mas isso é resolvido nos níveis futuros sendo os mais amplos. -Armas e magias interessantes que propõem vários estilos de setups, por mais que você acabe usando apenas uma ou duas magias o jogo constantemente te encoraja a experimentar algo novo. -Apresentação e a estética do jogo é oque possivelmente puxou sua curiosidade, com visuais estilo retro ( com até um filtro que simula o 64 apertando N) que dão charme a cenários criativos e que não falham em impressionar pela criatividade. Vale muito a pena se procura uma experiência única e divertida com boomer shooter. Os que te queimaram com ódio não terão piedade, não importa o local ou a era que estejam.

Но нуара здесь нет, зато полно элементов из других опер. Формально, COVEN - это бумер шутер: стрельба без перезарядки, жонгляж оружием, винтажная графика и прочие атрибуты этого геймдизайнерского подхода. Но игра идет дальше: 🟡 Слешерная механика со стаминой - можно вариативно махать топором и прикрываться щитом, а урон зависит от того, в какую часть тела и с какой стороны пришелся удар. Враги могут отражать твои удары и даже стрелы/пули своими топорами и мечами. 🟡 Мана, которая расходуется на slomo и, собственно, на магию. Самой магии шесть видов: от пиу-пиу и "огнемёта", до астральной виселицы и воскрешения мертвых. 🟡Есть даже кислота, которой можно блевануть на пол и стены, чтобы замедлить противников - полезно, т.к. половина гадов это милишники, которые оголтело сокращают дистанцию. 🟡 На уровнях раскиданы бутыли, восполняющие здоровье и ману, но их мало. Super fun and fast paced. Unique mechanics with spells and slow-mo keep it fresh. Weapons are crunchy in the best possible way and the ability to munch on your downed foes never gets old. Level design is great, only a few sections felt unfinished. I'm sure more refinement is to come. Only problem I've had so far is sequence breaking the levels is a bit to easy with how mobile you are. I can skip key doors very easy. The one other small gripe is fire and glowing objects are bit too over saturated it makes it impossible to see sometimes and overglow tends to make things look a bit cheap. (maybe a personal preference of mine) All that being said I'd recommend it even in early access state and would gladly support this devs endeavors in the future.

Love it! official soundtrack as a download would be really nice, gameplay is amazing and feels like Good old Doom or Blood

Coven is it's own little mastercraft It's a lovely done boomer shooter with that chase of a powerfantasy that can be cut short when the player does not lock in, with tons of secrets for anyone that likes to search every nook and cranny The graphic design that theters between fantasy and gothic is amazing, the level design is great, it's variety is also really good, from villages to castles to ruined cities where all you hear is the rain, it really knows when to be loud and when to shut up, the protagonist being a cannibal witch that dual wield her own powers with fireguns And the sound to top it off is incredible, everything feels satisfying even if grotesque at times which goes perfectly with the game's theme About it's duration, it's 15 euros for an early access that counts with its first chapter, which can be completed in 7-8 hours, it really feels like a full campaign with it's own start and ending, and tons of secrets, on it's own, and it blows my mind that the game will have at least two more down the line All in all, an amazing experience for anyone fond of boomer shooters, can't wait to see how it evolves from here

Awesome shooter with a lot of variety. Really enjoy the damage system when fighting enemies. Look forward to seeing where the dev takes the story next.

Очень крутатетская расчленёнка в игре, можно рубить головы, руки, можно нанести рубящий удар и при импакте можно располовиненить врагу череп, и вообще на два куска его разделить, много крови, ещё, жду gore апдейт, и новый эпизод очень

Редкий случай за последнее время, когда игра реально шутер, а не дранный слоп косящий под него. У игры есть проблемы (бесполезность двустволки на данный момент особенно на фоне местного дробовика который ебашит в голову большинство врагов на любом расстоянии, уровень с нациками и на корабле, где выдают рейлган вызывают вопросы) и она далеко не шедевр, но на фоне большинство псевдо говна и закоса под ретро это реально глоток свежего воздуха и хидден гем (особенно учитывая по сравнению с каким-нибудь говенным частными детективом Маусом, который каким-то хуем набрал очень положительные отзывы за очень короткое время). Возможность кромсать врагов в лице средневекового быдла на части, полноценно жарить и потом хрустеть их корочками, пользоваться магией как в Clive Barker Undying (даже взрывные черепа добавили оттуда же), рыгать разъедающей кислотой и наблюдать как они в муках распадаются на части — это то, каким примерно должны быть нынешние шутеры: приносящие искренний фан, удовольствие, а не уныние, зевоту и жопаболь по типу Ultrakill, Dusk и прочего помойного говна. Авторам бы подправить баланс арсенала (сделать двустволку более юзабельной например) и покороче уровни, ибо уж лучше короткая, но нормальная игра, чем длинная и душная нудятина и тогда у нее есть все шансы стать лучшим шутером за последнее время. Каким местом некоторые опарышные додики в отзывах умудряются ставить её в один ряд и сравнивать с помойным Blood ( кроме героя-нежити ничего общего даже близко нету) где не было норм геймплея, а были лишь враги с хитскан атаками — не понятно.
