Cossacks II: Battle for Europe

One of my favorite games of all time. Remake this for Cossacks 4.

ОЦЕНКА: 0 / 5 Игра сама по себе, наверное, хороша. Но она не работает на новых ОС и новом железе. Никакие танцы с бубном, настройками винды и сторонними программами из руководств и со сторонних сайтов НЕ ПОМОГЛИ. Фризы, мерцания и вылеты. Увы.

I can barely get the game to play on a Windows 11 system. The graphics fail, error messages that won't resolve, etc. Very annoying. It's a shame that GSC couldn't produce a patch or update. But they're a Ukrainian company so clearly bigger worries. Perhaps the new majority owner sees the business opportunity present for a patch/expansion pack release. I'd be first in line to purchase it. Until then, the game is pretty much unplayable on a modern rig in its current state.

EVERY TIME YOU GIVE AND ORDER THE UNITS FREAK OUT SPLIT IN HALF AND PATH LIKE THEY WERE PROGRAMMED BY A MORON.

el juego se crashea, y Steam no da una solución.

Игра хорошая , но плохая . Все говорят что этот кусок кода плохо работает на новом железе , однако я сталкивался все с теми же проблемами , и на древнем компостере , все те же вылет что на XP так и на 11 , также работает только режим завоевания гейропы , просто потому что он вылетает только при переходе на следующую клетку , и с некоторым шансом , так что можно успеть нормаль повоевать , во стальном это не играбельная ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Probably the best of all the cossacks series in terms of graphics. Looks like painted battles at times. Good game for its time and nothing else out there. Blitzkreig is good but this has vastly more soldiers. Hopefully the programmers come up with other games one day.
