Well... a bit torn about this one. Atmosphere and graphics are top notch. However- it is very short and the fact that it's mostly walking/running, makes it even more short. I get it it's a lovecraftian horror and the slow descention on a spiral staircase is true to it's source atmosphere, but it was kinda boring in a game for me. The enemy encounters didn't help also. They appear, they run fast and U're sure to die the firs time. Then U reload and realise that crouching isn't much of a stealth option and reload again, until manage to pass by the enemy. I am recommending the game, despite it's shortcomings, because if U do like lovecraftian horror- the price, the atmosphere, the story- they are top notch.

Cosmic Fear è il terzo capitolo dell'universo cosmico horror di Alessandro Guzzo. Sviluppato ancora una volta solo dal nostro Alessandro con Unreal Engine 5 e fotogrammetria, si porta dietro pregi e limiti abbastanza precisi. Il gioco punta tutto sull'investigazione ambientale: boschi nella nebbia, castelli dimenticati, villaggi che sembrano vuoti, ma non lo sono. Enigmi ambientali non troppo complessi. Poca azione diretta ma tanta tanta atmosfera, qualche sezione stealth contro una IA dinamica per spezzare il ritmo. Chi cerca un survival puro potrebbe restare spiazzato, chi ama il cosmic horror alla Lovecraft qui trova pane per i suoi denti. Il comparto tecnico ed artistico resta il punto più alto: la fotogrammetria su ambienti naturali e architetture regala una qualità visiva rara per una produzione a sviluppatore singolo. Di contro, gli enigmi restano semplici come detto e le interazioni un po' limitate, e il coinvolgimento cala, ammetto, un po' una volta smaltito lo stupore iniziale per gli scenari. L'ho portato a termine in circa una settimana, giocandolo a sprazzi tra un impegno e l'altro, e devo dire che regge bene anche spezzettato: l'atmosfera si ricostruisce in fretta ogni volta che ci si torna sopra. Nel complesso, un'esperienza che conferma la coerenza del piccolo universo horror costruito da Guzzo capitolo dopo capitolo, più solida nell'atmosfera che nella varietà ludica. Consigliato a chi cerca un horror contemplativo e visivamente curato, un po' meno a chi vuole meccaniche più complesse e di azione
J'avais déjà acheté les 2 précédents jeux de ce développeur. J'ai donc logiquement acheté aussi ce nouveau jeu. J'ai joué une petite heure et j'ai beaucoup apprécié le jeu: visuellement très beau, on retrouve le style des anciens jeu mais en mieux et plus moderne. Un plus aussi pour la traduction française des menus et textes (les voix sont par contre en anglais). Je recommande le jeu pour les amateurs de walking simulateurs avec une super ambiance horrifique.
Bardzo fajna gra, ciary zapewnione. Graficznie gra wygląda przewspaniale, w połączeniu z dźwiękiami tworzy naprawdę świętną atmosfere. Nie jest przekombinowana. Polecam spróbować.
