Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'd give it like a 5/10. Ambitious with a barebones execution. It's buggy but playable, and completable. This game feels like someone's little side project/tech demo and as a proof of concept I'd say it mostly works. Below are my cricitisms: The World is mostly barren and empty, and there's not much to interact with. Containers are frequently empty and exploration is poorly rewarded. You get a lot of money but only one place in the early parts of the game give you a means to "sort of" meaningfully spend it, but you pretty quickly get to a point where you can't go back there and utilize it, so the only way to use your money is on vending machines that only spit out 2 small heals before they're empty. That is unless you save-reload and then they refresh. Lockpicking is underutilized and not particularly worth putting points into to get use out of doing it. Hacking is overused and a lot of the game is annoying if you don't invest into it. Technique never seemed to affect throwing items well enough to get consistent use out of, I levelled it extensively but my weapons never actually flew directly at the crosshair, I suspect you could probably use it well enough without levelling it. I think skill utilization overall was lacking, and build freedom wasn't explored particularly well. The combat is serviceable but doesn't feel great, particularly since you have to choose between "run mode" and "fight mode". It's quite hard to make use of the environment like the game wants to when you can barely move 50% of the time during a fight. Also you never really get many means to out-maneuver or out-run enemies they just hound you, so you don't get to run around and try to be tricky. The fact your weapons break in a few swings, or in one throw leaving you bare-handed most of the time makes that all the more aggravating. You WANT to utilize the environment and throw stuff at enemies but it's jank and slow and frankly not worth it over just beating their chops. I think this system would stand to benefit either from some sort of permanent weaponry, or have enemies actually be armed and they drop their stuff for you to then use afterward. As an aside, throwing a knife at an enemy, killing them, and not being able to yank it out and use again is deeply unsatisfying. I could go on but I'll leave it there.

Game is quite good! Rough on edges, but where it matters it shines!
Sim.
Mix some fun combat, a short playthrough, kinda janky physics, fine to low spec graphics, add a few decent songs, to end up with CORPUS EDAX The combat is what shines through, kicking people off ledges Dark Messiah style doesn't lose it's appeal. If you like the demo, support an indie dev and grab the whole thing.
a lot of love went into this one and you can tell, my only wish is more people to fight
Very rough and abandoned. Combat is the main thing and everything else is kinda there, not much in the way of alternatives paths most of the time except maybe a vent or a pipe along the wall, no reason to invest in anything other than strength. Couple of good ideas like dragging npcs to face scanners and extending pipes for platforming. Story is meaningless and just an excuse to drag the player around from grey place to grey place with hole to kick people in. There are better kicking simulators out there.
It feels like a mix of inmersive sim and Mirror's Edge at times. The combat ain't very deep, but gets really flexible, think of Dark Messiah but cheaper. Sneaking around and getting lots of perks, finding your way around in maps with little details. It's a game you can vibe with time.
General Impressions
While Corpus Edax touts itself as an immersive sim, I'm not sure if I'd agree with the definition on immersiveness to the title. Putting into context over what I mean here, it'd be like saying Fallout 4 is a narrative-driven immersive sim, where three of the four communication options are Yes in a varied tonal shift, while "No" is unavailable, or you're looking for more context. When you try this game out, the community guide that spoils where all the little additions in stats is your best bet to getting a fun experience. There are goodies absolutely everywhere that boost your character's attributes permanently, but you'll likely be able to get by with checking through 50-60% of what the starting locations have while having a heavy focus on Grit/Strength, With how Corpus Edax is currently setup, there are other attributes like Charisma and Intelligence, but these options simply are not long-term solutions that require them as an effective strategy. Allure, for example, straight up has no pairings to any of its attributes. If you tried chatting with any of the NPCs, you'll notice how Allure only carries weight with any story-focused character. There are privileged security characters, but having Insight or Allure reveal bland flavor text, with most conversations ending up lasting only 3-4 seconds before the conversation is already over. The AI itself is also fairly rudimentary. Don't catch yourself throwing a jab at a teammate, otherwise they'll treat that friendly fire as your enemy. In most if not all cases, I find myself in an environment where it's a stick fight animation, every person inside the room is my enemy, and I'm the only savior in this hellscape. There's no particularly special attacks you can do, not until you've spent your skill points getting them, and if there's a piece of glass between you and the enemy, they're blind to what you've done with their teammates on the opposite side. I purchased this at full price, and I had a good experience even if I disagree in its "immersive" portion of it. if you're still down to try the game, get it when it's on sale for $5 and see for yourself whether this immersive sim is the experience you're looking for.
