Game requires a separate login to play which is an automatic negative review. Very RNG based as well. Reminds me of the very old TSR games back in the commodore 64 days. Nostalgic type of game for old school gamers. If not for the additional login would rate the game as recommended.
A good idea, plagued with gameplay issues
What started as an easy to learn, and simple online co-op RPG, quickly showed how little thought was put into the gameplay mechanics, balance, and debugging. I could easily look past the fact that there is no character depth, very little customisation, and how small and bare bones the world felt, specially considering how tiny the development team was, unfortunately the game is plagued with frustrating issues, which are no doubt a result of the platform the game was developed one - sacrificing gameplay and a more powerful engine for the ability to play on a browser.

To give you a small sample of how unbalance and unfair the game is I'll describe you one of the fight maps and enemies (spoilers ahead):

The map starts with 6 enemies revealed, with two of them hiding themselves on the first turn.
There are walls through which the players can't attack, but the enemies can.
The enemies can lay arrow traps from far, directly underneath the players.
The arrow traps if stepped on are automatically triggered and deal damage in a circle (affecting 7 tiles maximum).
Damage dealt by these arrow traps breaks player stealth.
The enemies can step and trigger the arrow traps they placed, but they take NO damage (so they also remain in stealth).
The map can easily have 6 of these arrow traps setup in a cluster, together with Poison traps that reduce all stats if you are sitting on that tile.
You start the fight in a corner, behind a wall, giving you limited options of movement and attack opportunities when you are already outnumbered.
You are incentivised to group up to dispatched the enemies more quickly, but the trap placement counters this. The damage you take from the traps and the attacks of the enemies can easily destroy the party in two/three turns.
This is supposed to be a 'Medium' difficulty mission at level 4... but looking past the difficulty, which I have no problems with, the most galling issue is the fact that mechanics don't apply globally giving the player a tremendous disadvantage.

PROS:

Can play on a browser pretty much anywhere as long as you have internet
Asynchronous turn-based gameplay, allowing you to play at your rhythm with friends
Easy to learn, with some added complexity when you purchase new skills/items
Simple gameplay, pick a mission and go fight/make decisions until you finish
Soundtrack is great
CONS:

Gameplay mechanics are not applied globally (things that affect you don't affect your enemies)
Limited customisation options
Limited class/skill options

As the last update was done in 2017, I have zero hope for this game to ever get an update to address these issues, and so I DON'T RECOMMEND anyone to purchase this game for the current full price (£7.19). Play the browser trial, enjoy that and move on to better things.
Interesting stories, best played with at least 1 friend.
Nice slow game with interesting book style story. It actually presents you with a good and mystic plot to play trough. If you do not enjoy reading fantasy books, then probably this game is not for you. :) Combat system is good enough, for me (I've completed 3 quests so far) battles are too simple and do not provide with enough challenge. :) But may be it will change with the next quests. :)
By-the-book, story rich, turnbased tabletop RPG. Both the smallest installment, and the game with the most gaming hours on my PC. Truly recommendable.
Very nice cRPG. While branching in quests is minimal and usually doesnt change that much in missions (alters number of enemies or your placement in the encounter or changes one encounter to another) it is well written and has nice sharp plot. Combat is simple, easy to learn and medium-difficult to master. Lot of possible builds to explore, especially if your team is willing to compensate for you picking up highly specialized role in fights. Rules are well-explained and I think that makes it good choice for people starting with the genre.
I love it and keep coming back to this game, even after 7 years. This game is a gem if you are into pen and paper roleplaying games. The UX is a bit clunky, and the speed of the game is quite slow, but this is at the same time it's charm: you really take the time to think over your next move and it gives you time to let your fantasy really put yourself in that situation. This laid back game play, combined with the strong written quests makes it a really cool single player game experience and the next best thing compared to playing pen and paper roleplaying games. Did I mention it also offers online multiplayer? :)
It's okay. I don't really want a third party account just to use it tho.
Only supports very small resolution (800x600 i think) playing above this size results in the game view being a tiny window.
The resolution is not adjustable, so it's teeny tiny on my high res monitor. A Game designed for phones and poorly ported to the PC. I would recommend that you do not buy this if you own a PC and monitor made after 1980.
