Command: Modern Operations is the next generation in cross-domain modern wargaming. It enables you to simulate every military engagement from post World War II to the present day and beyond. The scale is primarily tactical/operational, although strategic scale operations are also possible.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Too complicated to be enjoyable
крутая стратегия даже картинки есть
Less "game" and more sandbox with almost every modern weapon modeled. This definitely scratches an itch but you probably know if you are going to be into something like this before you think about purchasing.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sit Down and Look at Maps: The Video Game I love it.
Reminds me of my time working in a Brigade Tactical Operation Center (TOC). Probably not for a casual gamer though.
Great indepth game for Modern combat. Can't get enough
In the trailers and promotional images, the game showcases a third-party plugin called "Tac-View" that literally makes the game look better and more interesting until you realize you need a subscription to the Enterprise version to use it. I consider this a deceptive tactic since the game doesn't even come with a trial version or anything. Secondly, you can understand the game in a couple of days, until you realize you're commanding mindless NPCs with no independent judgment, not "humans" who train for 7-10 years to be pilots. You'll spend more time fighting the idiotic and braindead AI than the UI, also enemy ai sucks at attacking, u can cheese USA or Russia even with the somalian army lmao
You probably already know if this game is for you. If you are interested in naval tactics, ships and systems then you might like it. If you read USNI Proceedings or have looked up information in Jane's Fighting Ships, then this is for you. If you want a video game with shiny models, this isn't that. Immensely satisfying if this is your thing.
Great game, although difficult to learn. You probably won't find anything similar with such complexity. I think it's even better optimized. What I would like is Steam Cloud Save or Achievements, so I can save which scenarios I've completed. (there are many campaigns and scenarios that you can play for many years, and keep track of your progress over the years)
