This indie game is a true gem. Addictive, challenging, and wildly inventive in its mechanics. I originally played the demo, and it has been an absolute pleasure watching the game evolve and turn into the polished version it is today.
Great first game from a new indie developer! I was a beta player and enjoyed seeing it go from concept to full release. Collateral Dungeon a chill experience with just enough planning needed to keep you on your feet to avoid getting backed into a corner with no escape. Pick this up if you enjoy the positional thinking of things like chess or Crypt of the Necrodancer. I will get all the relics and unlock the secrets of the collateral dungeon!
This is quite a fun little game. There is enough diversity in each play to keep it entertaining. I look forward to seeing what else this dev creates.
Fun puzzle game, with a good mechanic. Works flawlessly on the steam deck!
A puzzler with a lot of good ideas. The moment to moment choices make it a fun thing to pick up and play for a quick session
A light puzzle game, with a bit of a mash-up between a tower defense phase and turn-based tactics. The first couple go-rounds were confusing, but once I got a feel for the enemy movement patterns, the gameplay became much more straightforward. I started to focus mainly on spacing myself away from big groups of enemies, and as long as you don't let yourself get collapsed on you get to enjoy watching them fall into your hard-dug pits. Seems like a fun game to play in the background while chatting or doing another light activity. There's a set of collectibles which make me want to come back for them.
Fun game! I always enjoy roguelikes that deviate a bit from the normal deck builder or ARPG format, and I've really enjoyed this one.
Collateral Dungeon is a lovely little puzzle game! Each level plays through fairly quickly so you can play through any time and it plays great on the Steam Deck!
A lot of depth is to be found behind the basic elements of this puzzle game, recommends for anyone who enjoys a good challenge and unlocking new discoveries as you go deeper.
This game is challenging right out the gate, especially for someone with limited experience with these kind of games. Fortunate for me it includes a pretty thorough tutorial. The sound design is well done. it would probably play play well on the steam deck.
