CODE VEIN II

With the kind of optimization and fluidity, this game is worth 25-30€ for a base version. I will definitely re-buy the game and update the review when I can get it for a fair prize. This game currently ranks in the "underwhelming" category for me together with Borderlands 4 with questionable decisions in game design and an especially bad performance and optimization. The game is pretty okay-ish and worth to play, but the prize is insulting.

I loved the original Code Vein and was excited for this release Whilst the initial release had it's bugs and whatnot, I still enjoyed the game - however: I'm not a huge fan of the detachment from the original game's story - That's not to say that Code Vein II's story is bad, it's definitely not - but, I would hesitate to call it a sequel given it exists in what feels like an alternate universe of sorts. That being said, after experiencing the 3 different endings - I am left satisfied and anxiously awaiting the DLC Lou is best girl.

In some ways the game was better than the first one. In other ways, it was worse. Ultimately, I had a lot of fun playing this game. I enjoyed the combat, the story, and the characters.

Fatal error! I really want to love this game... Spent 40 hrs finished 2/3rds of the main story and did a ton of exploration... and suddenly I can no longer play the game. Tried every tech trick in the book from reinstalling the game to drivers. Nothing works... At this time all I get is a fatal error. 40 hrs in... completely unplayable. Saves don't work. New game doesn't work. RIP

I really enjoyed the game alot regardless of how much theyve changed it from the first one i absolutely love it the game felt very open to how you play it and builds are well done and when it comes to the story i like it , it had alot of jumping between time periods but overall loved it and ran pretty well too would recommend for the those who enjoy these type of games and those who played the first one not just cause of the multiplayer or anime darksouls. Character customization seemed to go father than the first one as well

It's an ok 7/10 game Obviously inspired by Elden Ring for the open world approach, graphics is so-so, it doesn't wow me compared to other Anime games in 2026 unlike CV1 which looked ahead of its time. Performance is horrible - on the same ballpark as other AAA in 2026, but at least playable if you have a $2000 rig. Combat feels fluid just like every other souls games honestly I've played too many soulslikes this one just doesn't shine very much. It's a good AA filler while having nothing in my library left to play

it's not really alike as the first code vein is but I still love how they did this game the open world is really fun and its really fun to stream on twitch for my viewers the first boss is absolutely one of the hardest bosses I've fought I like to call him the medusa boss but every boss ive encountered I have loved so far the story is still amazing yes it does lag sometimes but not horribly and the weapons are some of the coolest design ever Twitch: Samuraiofdarkness_

This game doesn't deserve the negative reviews it's gotten. The combat feels good, the character design is great, the world is interesting, the time travel and history-changing mechanics are handled well, the plot is engaging, and honestly the performance is pretty decent. I've had a few hitches, and had a little trouble when I first ran it, but from what I can tell that last was more a Steam issue than a game issue. It feels like they iterated on the design of the first game and let themselves try some new things with the sequel, and that's how it should be. I guess I can understand the complaints that it isn't its predecessor, since the open world elements are a definite departure, but I personally like what they did with that. Recommended.

Its a very fun game, managed to 100% it in the time I reached the end. Completing the full story and every quest. Its a very good story, nice plot was worth the price when it was on sale. I personally enjoyed it more then the first game, but that's my preference (Josee is best girl. No one can change my mind) I just wait for the DLC to have my views on that aswell!
