Tries to do a lot, however ends up doing a very shallow and unfufilling job at many different sports. Simming a season moves very slow as your bugged with various busywork tasks each day that don't feel particularly rewarding or meaningful immediately. Menus are very cluttered, unintuitive and unresponsive. Live Simulation on most sports is pretty empty and uninteresting. Game reports ties as losses occasionally. Game is not worth the price simply. Should have released as an early access or demo first. Doesn't really deserve this price in its current state. Would rather buy a game that focuses on 1 sport very well rather than one that does 18+ all poorly. Some Basic Examples: No Wrestling Weight Classes(Just Lightweight, Middleweight, Heacyweight with 3 starter groups and a “Selection Sunday for a 33 team postseason?”) Tennis Lineups/Depth Charts make no sense Doesn’t feature all Track events Could probably find many more. Wait for reduced price ur not missing out on anything
I love college sports and as a mega-fan of the NCAA football series, where I love to play my own dynasties, this game really appeals to me. Unfortunately, it's not ready for release. A few points of feedback for the devs: Your whole simulator is about reading text, and you chose bolded block font everywhere. Ultimately, after just 50 minutes of trying to play, I started to get a headache. There's no way I could stare at this game for hours and try to play this. It's really hard to determine what is a dashboard and what is an actual button / action item. Consider sorting these better so it's clear what is just for informational purposes and was is designed for player interaction. The coaching screen needs tons of work. Let me sort by categories in the list please. Right off the bat I found the game too tedious because I can't sort a list of coaches by salary. That's a huge oversight. Similarly - if you're going to give me a list of 500 pre-generated schools in the beginning to pick from, give me some sort of way to sort the list. I ultimately just had to randomly scroll somewhere and choose a school. There's no point in giving me 500 options if I can't meaningfully sort the list. I love the idea, but this needs a lot of work before I could even consider playing it as a beta. I hope you'll continue to revise it because I'd love to play something like this after it cooks a little longer.
Woof, not a good play. I'm a huge sports sim fan, including stuff like OOTP, FM, etc. This had big promise in the idea, but execution was really poor. I hate to be the AI police, but it's all ChatGPT generated content. Images, code, interactions, and so on. Not to mention needing to sign in with email (are we sure that's protected properly?) UI is bad, interactions are bad, core gameplay loop not fun
Too much busy work for any game like this.
Not recommended for now but has the potential to be a good game eventually. Just lots of bugs right now that make the game virtually unplayable. I'll be checking back in to this game every so often to see if the bugs have gotten better, if they do this could be really fun.
Like any other game, its got it's hiccups at release. UI could use a little work, but I am enjoying it overall. I feel like once the little bugs get fixed, this will be a very very fun game imo. Price point may seem high, but I have faith that updates will take care of that. Don't let the AI images scare you, someone still put this idea to fruition and I enjoy it and find it fun and interesting.
great potential...i wishlisted this and got it immediately tonight when it came out its a real cool concept which had me intrigued...i am enjoying it ....there is alot of managing , recruiting feels insanely hard i will mention that 1 star and 2 star recruits dont seem to care about NIL it seems like ive lost out on 99 percent of every battle i try for and im offering 1 and 2 star recruits NIL......hope you continue to work on the game i think youve hit on a real GEM idea just needs some tinkering on a few things
Great idea but poorly executed. Most parts of the game are broken. I played through a full season, next season only about 3 sports were in play. The rest nothing. Coach system is bare bones, you would think big pool of coaches if you fired one. Nope. No way to make an assistant the head coach. So I have teams with no head coach.
This game has crazy potential to be a great sports sim but the UI and some sports just not simulating is a major issue. These devs have a gold mine for sports sim if they just dialed in and figured it out
I can't recommend this game in it's current state. Really wanted to love this but until there are some major updates released, I'll just have to wait it out. Dev did a great job on College Hockey 26 making quick and meaningful updates to that one so I have hope. The game tries to do way too much all at once and the UI just feels impossible. Each play-through has been marred by compliance issues that are not easy to remedy without just dropping a bunch of sports. Also, there is no need for a venue when the school doesn't have a sport that needs that venue (hockey arena and practice facility without having a hockey team). Like I said though, I have hope that the dev will get updates out to fix a lot of these issues. Should have started this one in early access at a lower price point
