You’ll have all the managerial tools you’ve come to expect in a manager game, scouting, facilities, training or basketball plays on the court. Your choices matter, will you put emphasis on coaching or player development? Success is only the result of your decisions both on and off the court.

International basketball is both exciting and competitive! PBM25 features most major international competitions, and your coaching skills might lead you to coach a national team. Will you have what it takes to take a gold medal home?
Pro Basketball Manager 25 is the only simulation videogame on the market featuring more than 20 official licenses recognised worldwide, such as the Betclic Élite, Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi, Betsafe-LKL, BNXT, Kooperativa NBL and many others.
The following leagues are officially licensed in PBM2025 with official names and photos of their players and teams:

All competitions, teams and players have been updated for the 24/25 season.
More than 20 licensed leagues from top professional leagues in Europe, Oceania and Latin America.
A refined and powerful editor that allows you to modify players, teams and even create competitions!
The game now features 3D facilities management. For the first time in the history of PBM you’ll be able to choose between 13 different buildings to increase your income, improve your youth academy or training centre and much more.
In Pro Basketball Manager 2025, you now have full control over your team’s budget, which will be influenced by the sponsors you choose. At the start of each season, you’ll receive sponsor offers based on your team’s performance and reputation within your league. Sponsors will give you objectives that can further increase your income if you fulfil them. But choose wisely, as bad results could impact your budget negatively.
For the first time ever simulated and played games share the same algorithm. It now means that the same results will be obtained whether the game is simulated or played (if not coaching). It will also streamline the tactics and results for games.
We’ve added shooting charts to the game. You can now analyze where each shot has been taken during the games, if your players are scoring a lot on turnovers or fastbreaks.
We’ve also added another analytical tool with the new score evolution graph. You can just look at the score evolution right after each game to see where the momentum swing was.
Where are your players most efficient? Just check the new zone charts for each individual player! This third new analytical tool will give more information on player performance.
Prize money has been added to the game. You can now earn money when you do well in a competition. Another way to increase your budget!
PBM25 will feature a new search popup, just click on the magnifying class and you can search for any player/team/competition/staff member from the game.
PBM25 lets you create your own plays that you can then call during the games to take your opponent off-guard.
Be it individual players or teams, you have a whole range of statistics at your fingertips which allow you to manage your progress. You can thus check on your players’ performances (past and present), evaluate your own career, or even look back through the archives of the games of any team featured in PBM25.
Through our in-depth scouting system, you can send your scouts around the world to be on the lookout for the next best players to make it to the top.
Train your players collectively, but also individually to get the best results. Improve your club's finances by improving your facilities to generate extra revenue.
You can sign, loan or transfer players. Mistakes can happen and you can also fire players to adapt your squad to your needs.
You can choose to play the games in 3D and follow the on-court action, making tactical changes on the fly and assigning your own plays to a player. You can also use the 2D or text mode if you prefer.
If you cannot wait any longer for the result, you can skip a quarter or even the entire game for an immediate result.

What really made me refund the game was the woefully lack of self-aware developer on the forums. Summary: Question: "Is this game dead? No updates since January.." Dev: "No! Its very much alive, we are just working on the next version." .............. If you aren't supporting the active product because you are working on the next version, then the answer is YES it is dead! The game is 2025 in the title, and isn't being updated anymore in 2025 - in fact, with a November release and January final patch means they are only interested in supporting a game for 3 months before working on next years edition. ---------------------- As a game, it seems to take a lot from OOTP and apply it to basketball while trying to be a lot more accessible to newer players to that style of game. But it doesnt have the depth, and honestly the statistics don't really match up to what you'd get in-game. Actually coaching the games has potential but at least OOTP tries to have the plays on screen match what event took place. In this you don't really see what is going on, it is hard to follow, and the results look silly. Are my guys NOT playing defense or is it fine for most players to shoot deep 3s at a 66% clip? Not worth it for $30 for a yearly release. It needs to take some leaps development wise to justify that price point. QoL things need to be cleaned up, extra button presses to confirm mundane tasks.. I suggest you support a game for 2 years while working on the backend, right now the only attractive reason to buy the game yearly is roster updates mostly. When there is online league support, historical seasons, and different avenues to challenge yourself then that might be worth it.
I think the game is really bad. The developer tries to copy the Football Manager series, however many of the features are just showcases, they aren't really flashed out. For example: you can scout players, but you can only do it one-by-one. You can’t scout many players with one click, so it’s really tedious to do it. You don’t have a shortlist menu per say, you have to click on the bookmark icon on the player list. All the database related actions are extremely slow. I liked the sponsor selection, but it was a bit annoying that there were only 3 offers for all the clubs. All clubs had the same offer structure: 1 (most of the time with the highest value) purely money offer and 2 options with lower fees, but with decent bonuses with conditions. The criteria were totally random, so sometimes you’ll get the same dimension, but with different values. Like having home attendance over 60% and 75%. Having the option to build facilities seems nice, but it didn’t seem to matter. First, you don’t know or see what the other teams are doing, so there isn’t any factual data if you’re ahead or if you’re falling behind. You only see bar chart comparisons with the best and the worst, that’s all. This is important to mention, because if you manage a less affluent team, then you’ll be punished if you weren’t spending all the money on the rosters, but you won’t see any benefits of investing into the infrastructure. These were the minor things, which are annoying, but I could’ve lived with them. One of my biggest issues is with the tactics. You have this attack editor/planner, which I think doesn’t really do anything at all. It’s just a fancy option, which can make the player believe they’re real coaches on the court with small whiteboards in their hands drawing very clever tactics on them. Instead of this I really miss simplified options/tactics to choose. For example: force more driving, shoot from the inside, try to get fouls, force match ups where the player has height/speed advantage. You have some sliders, but I don’t feel I can really fine tune my team’s gameplay. I absolutely hate in-game features or sometimes the lack of it. There are rules when you can substitute players, as in real life. However you have to wait for the same events to switch positions between two or more players on the court, like you have to do it, when you want to substitute them. You can’t really use these substitute events like in real life. If you have a player with 3 personal fouls, and the player makes his/her 4th, then you can’t sub him/her off during this period, if you haven’t pre-loaded the change before it happened. You can shout to the players to calm down or congratulate them, but again you can’t really give any tactical instructions. These are mind boggling bad elements of the game. I firmly believe the 3D match only tries to play out as closely as possible what the game has calculated behind the scenes, so you don’t see any real time gameplay. What I mean is that the game engine isn’t that clumsy with animations, rather the game has decided the farthest player will get the rebound with the most unrealistic ball physics flown over the head of other 8 players just standing by. I played in the Canadian league. There is a Canadian center with decent attributes for the league without a team. He’s 180 cm (5’11) tall, which is even laughable for PG, but I don’t think you can play center in a competitive league so short in this position. My center was 211 cm (6’11) tall. I can imagine that the short guy can score on the big guy even inside the paint, but there is no way that the little one can get many offensive rebounds against the big guy. Long story short, I think most of the time the game compares a few attributes with each other in a really simple manner. The worst offender is the cheating in favor of the AI teams. They don’t play by the same rules. They don’t scout, yet they’ll sign on the 1st day the best players. You don’t even know if they offered more money than you, because it's hidden information, probably for a reason. You won’t even get this in the scout reports. The AI has a terrible roster. Sometimes they don’t have any or 1 center only, sometimes they have 5 or more. I played in the Mexican league, where you can have 4 foreign players in the match squad. All the teams are filled with too many foreign players by default, so the AI doesn't sign Mexican players to have a decent match squad, nor fires/sells the worst ones to offload the balance. The game rarely punishes the AI teams, when they have to use the really trash U21 players with 25 overalls, they’ll be doing just fine. However, I had a decent Mexican playmaker PG with good dribbling, passing and consistency, yet he makes 5-10 turnovers/game, because the AI has a slightly better player. I had never ever played a game where I had less turnovers than the AI team. Many times the AI players/teams will have their game of their life against you. Trash shooters end the match with 56,5% in 3 points or 100% in free throws. In summary, the management part is really simple and too grindy to be fun, the 3D/simulation is way too frustrating to be enjoyed. I don't think there is a type of player I can recommend this game to.
waste of money. dont buy there is no manual or explanation of the game mechanics.
A lot of bugs in game..
Garbage. Some search features get stuck when adding or removing players. It's a complete money trap. Are everyone doing this idiots? The tactics are practically non-existent. You can't even search for players. Haven't you ever played CM 01-02? I'm using it as an example because it's old. It's infinitely better than this game. The idiots of the past only added two or three training settings. There are tons of different training options. Well, these idiots did this. They clearly have no understanding of gaming technology. The people who made this game are a bunch of idiots who don't understand UI design. Mouse scrolling doesn't work on the player search page, and you can't even continue the game with the keyboard. You can't even create your own tactics. Instead of grabbing and dragging, they've tried to force games with a stupid play function. Even that sometimes slips. The pass goes where the player isn't supposed to. So, it's garbage. Anyone who likes this has either never played a game in their life or are complete idiots.
with license mods for all leagues this game is really great
