This game had a lot of potential, Im sorry, but if they added things from demo, I would change my rating, but they ruined it, not even driving is realistic and no NPCs, IF and only IF they decide to finally uprgade it, I would change my review, but untill then, I dont recommend buying this game
What in the world happened to this game? Load up Lag down and error out it's unplayable!!!!
O kadar kömür kazdım, madene girip geri çıktığımda ne göreyim. Kazdığım bütün kömür kuş olup uçmuş. Fikir olarak çok güzel. Ama fikri hayata geçirme aşamasında çok fazla sıkıntı var.
The broken achievement system
I really wanted to complete the achievements for this game, that was my goal. I knew going in that it was gonna be a rough time from all the negative reviews, but I figured I could out endure it. HOWEVER I don't think it's even possible to get all the achievements or the method is so obscure behind broken code because so little people have the one for using an explosive. "Rock blaster: use explosives on rock for the first time" - something you do in the tutorial, mind you. Something *I did* in the tutorial many, many times, but never got it. Some other comments in the discussions for this game allude to maybe other achievements being broken, too.
Constantly restarting because of soft locks
I also didn't expect that I'd have to keep restarting the game. I played for almost 4 hours and couldn't make it past the tutorial without soft locking myself twice. The first time was in the first mine about 84 minutes in. I saved the game, closed the game, ate a nice tomato sandwich, then and came back to my save and the rock re-spawned trapping my digging machine in a stone wall like it was some kind of chunk reload in Minecraft. It suffocated in the wall. My ONLY way of digging rock in this game (can a realistic mining simulator get a pick or a jack hammer or something?). I didn't have enough money or coal for another one, it was game over. The second soft lock was in the second mine. Learning about the worker system in the tutorial, I assigned a worker to dig. Afterwards I realized the mission was "wait for worker" and I told him to dig too much. Well, no problem, I'll just unassign him and reassign him. Easy. Except after I unassigned him, the game locked me out of reassigning him (because of tutorial reasons?). ??? Why would you design it to LOCK me out of assigning workers but allow me to unassign them? Anyway this doomed my game for a second time to be stuck on the "wait for the worker to finish the assignment" for workers who I could not assign.
Saves won't save you
So you'd think I'd be able to load a save from where I wasn't soft locked, right? Ha ha, no. Because there's only one save slot. Despite having a manual save it just saves to that slot instead of giving you multiple slots lot every other single modern game since Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past.
Using a controller not an option
Keyboard is fine. Mouse sensitivity is fine (albeit everything has motion blur and there's no way to turn it off so beware of jerking the camera around too much). But if you want to use a gamepad, your camera movement speed is locked to the 33% of that which you can do on mouse and trying to reverse anything is like pulling teeth. AND THIS GAME IS HALF REVERSING THINGS TOWARDS OTHER THINGS. I hit the left trigger for reverse. Nothing. The wheels spin for a fraction of a second doing their weird motion blur thing then stop. Why? Do I need to go forward a bit? It still doesn't work. Maybe if I put the parking brake off an on? I'm becoming superstitious at this point. I have to beg and plead and keep hitting the trigger for just a little bit of reverse like "oh god please reverse", this is making me BARGAIN with the game for BASIC controls.
The game is never getting better
The updates are not coming. I have zero faith the achievement bug will be ironed out as the last update was years ago. There's been no communication in years. It's practically abandonware. Instead of making the game better over time or burying it as a failed early access level game, they're still selling it like it's fresh. It's egregious. There is no future hope for this game because the developers abandoned their duty to the player base long ago, and the player base justifiably abandoned them in turn.
Szerintem egy jó az unalom elűzésére.
