Club Dance Party VR

Oh my God. Another great idea very poorly implemented. I could just say don't bother and you could trust me on this one and really do not bother but I will expound further. 1. You are not within the game space itself. You are floating beyond it like watching a 360 video but a little better. 2. Your hands are not yours but they are floating out in front of you. 3. You can't walk around the dance floor which definately would have been nice. No locomotion. 4. The girls are large looking. Not a bad thing but just doesn't look right. 5. This seems like it was made for smart phones or GearVR at best. 6. It would have been nice to actually dance with the girls by holding their hands, thighs, and doing twists and turns and then taking their hand again on the return but that is not this game. You touch circles with floating hands. 7. If people like this game then more power to them but for VIVE it really does not use much of its capabilities nor make use of the Virtual World itself. 8. Tha game looks good in screenshots but is not crisp in the game maybe because of blur or bloom/lighting effects. Pass on this. My rating is, well, a 2/10 just because I guess it is a working game for what it does but not good for room scale VR users who want to make use of their hardware in games. I refunded this and hate doing that.

踊り子さんに触れることはできない（重要）。 ※ボディタッチによるコミュニケーションがない。 女性パートナーは４名おり、選択すると目の前で曲中に踊る。 女性の衣装はクリア後に入手できる「スター」を消費することにより、衣装を入手して着せ替えができる。 幾つか試したが衣装チェンジしても下着の色や種類は変わらない。 また専用エモートもあり、此方は「ハート」を消費すると入手できる。 （スターとハートは曲のクリア報酬。） ステージは4つ、各ステージでプレイできる曲は2曲なので全8曲。 各ステージと曲開放には「スター」が必要。 難易度はNormalとHardがあり、Hard開放には「ハート」が必要。 ゲームはプレイ中にミス連発しても閉店はないが、Hardはクリアできる気がしない。 特に複数ノーツが表示されると順番が分かりにくい。 （某応援団みたいに番号を振るなど工夫が欲しい。） ちなみにフリープレイモードがあり、購入していない曲もステージもプレイできる。 但し、クリア後に獲得できる報酬は通常モードと違い、かなり少ない。 プレイエリアにパートナー以外の動くオブジェクトが多い為か全体的に動作が重い気がする。 特にノーツに触れるために素早く腕を動かすとラグを感じる時がある。 今後のアプデで表示オブジェクトの調整が欲しい。 腕の表示距離やノーツ出現範囲の調整もできれば尚良い。 （プレイエリア確保の為なのか30cmほど離れた場所に手が出現している。慣れるまでちょっと大変だった。） やや操作に癖があるが、繰り返しプレイすると面白くなってくる。 曲に合わせて目の前で踊るパートナーをガン見（主に胸）しながらのプレイは楽しい。 エロ目的の購入はお勧めしない。 音ゲーとしての出来は及第点かな。

While I did put a negative recommendation originally, I didn't properly convey just how bad this game is. It is the worst dance rhythm music game in VR. New Rating 3/10. I love music rhythm games and I just have a soft spot for them. Whether it's Rock Band, Guitar Hero, or Beat Saber VR. I also enjoy music dance rhythm games whether it's Dance Central (GOAT!), Just Dance, or Personal Disco VR (the current gold standard in VR for actual dance partner goodness). This game is a mash-up between the two. Closer to Dance Dance Revolution, but with your hands. And while this may be a concept that might work, it wasn't well executed here. It's still in Early Access so I'm going to support it. I hope people support this game. But I can't honestly recommend it to others. I can only recommend this for extreme fans who want to support devs so they can fix the game and make the best game possible. It's just nowhere near enjoyable at this point. This game is a mess. The first problem is that this game runs badly, at least on my PC. So unless you have a beefy VR setup, expect all kinds of frame rate issues and stutter. That's obviously not a good thing for a music rhythm game that honestly requires visual cues more than audio cues. In fact, while sometimes the music beat meshed with the hand gesture / controller input the game wanted, often times the two were independent of each other. It never feels like you're dancing. This is probably the worst possible thing this game could have done.[b] You can't even touch your dance partner.[/b] Take away the hot Asian models dancing near you and all you're left with is a laggy music rhythm game. Not good. The models are never close to you. [u]Your avatar hands are a distance away from your hands even! [/u] How can a game release when the avatar hands are not even correctly aligned to your motion controllers? Who programmed this? Lastly, the music is bad. It's just trash. Not one good track. Do you like Gangnam Style from Psy? This is music like from his uncle. It's that bad. Seriously. But don't despair, there are good things in this game. I wanted to rate it positive. It has potential. [i] See my photo below[/i]. Yes, you can buy outfits and emotes. There's 8 songs with 2 difficulties for each. There's 4 venues. It is a grind to unlock in the campaign mode but you can free dance (choose any locked song/venue) to any song or venue you want. I think game would have been much better if they had at least a truly free mode where they just let you dance with your partner and let you do whatever you want. Rate 4.9/10. 1. 是个相当不错的体验，当性感美女面对面站在你眼前舞动身躯的时候，我已经不在意游戏的玩法了， 前后左右欣赏就好了（哈哈~）。 2. 游戏上手有点难，需要手的位置处在正确的虚拟位置，然后按照提示（缩圈到最小时）点击或拉动触点。刚开始总是掌握不好合适的时机和位置，多玩几盘后慢慢找到了感觉，可以一边欣赏美女，一边听着音乐玩游戏了。 3. 画面有点发白，感觉像是烟尘效果，这点貌似是为了让CLUB的感觉更真实吧，毕竟大多数的夜场进去后都是这样“乌烟瘴气“的感觉。 4. 希望后期添加美女的服装能够更性感一些，毕竟这款游戏大部分都应该是男性玩家 5. 目前是体验版，希望游戏能够改进的更好 6. The game is a bit difficult to use. You need to position the hand in the correct virtual position, and then click or pull the contact as prompted (when the loop is minimized). At first, I always mastered the right timing and position. After playing a few more games, I gradually found a feeling that I could enjoy watching beautiful music and playing games while listening to music. 3. The picture is a little whitish and it feels like a smoke effect. This looks like a clue to make CLUB feel more authentic. After all, most of the night scenes are so "smooth". 4. If so, the developer was probably successful. Feeling the swaying of the earth, salted pig hands flying in disorder, swayed with the music , it was still very happy. But it is a bit dizzy. If there is a "quiet" patch, it will be more perfect for players to choose more.

Brought it for the wife, she doesn't really like it. According to her this game is nothing like Just Dance. If you're a guy and you're lonely then this is the perfect Dance with Hoes simulator.

The camera is badly broken so VR motion-scaling is twice what it should be, and the devs made everything twice as large to compensate. Basically - it doesn't feel like you're on the dancefloor. Your partner is not human-sized. And worse, the fundamental game is not fun - OSU beatmaps with human hands on the end of lazer-pointers. Requested a refund. This game needs serious fixing STILL as of Jan. 2019.
